Sometimes a mesh is created using tulle, lace or old mesh tights. Covered with dark varnish and dried nail, they are wrapped with prepared mesh fabric. The grid should not be displaced, therefore it is fixed with something or clamped with your fingers.

Colored varnish with a sponge is applied over the net. After drying the top layer, the mesh is neatly cleaned. The finish layer will smooth the surface of the nail and help to avoid roughness.

You can draw flakes by applying black horizontal parallel stripes. Then they are connected from the sides by lines so that hexagons are formed. From them, strips diagonally lead to the edge of the nail, first up and then down, forming a net around large scales.

Imitation of snake skin is also created using shellac "Cat's Eye". Its base contains metal elements, which, when exposed to magnetic fields in the varnish, take a certain shape. When dried, beautiful patterns are obtained.

First, the nail is covered with a suitable varnish, dried, the net is painted in black. Sometimes the cells are shaded with foil, covered with biosculptural transparent varnish. Often the drawing is performed in a monophonic scale.

To create a volumetric simulation, a base gel is first applied. It is necessary to use a means of a dense structure. After it dries, the nail is covered with two layers of dark varnish, each of which is previously dried. Then light pigments are applied, which are immediately coated with fixative drops.

Transfer foil will help create shiny cells. You need to act quickly and accurately: firmly press the foil to the nail surface and sharply remove. The adhesive layer will shine beautifully. Framing scaly rhombuses will take on a shimmering appearance.

To avoid erasing the sparkles from the surface, it is necessary to use the top layer of the top. Drops of modeling gel are added to the very center of the rhombuses. Then apply a fixative. Rhombuses acquire a noticeable volume.

The checkerboard layout of the cells attracts many manicure lovers with a reptile image.To prevent drops from spreading, each of them individually is recommended to dry in a lamp for several seconds. At the final stage, all nails are thoroughly dried and a smooth layer of fixative is applied on top. The fingers are again placed in an ultraviolet lamp. The sticky layer must be removed.

There is one of the easiest ways to create a nail design with the appearance of snake scales using the craquelure technique. To do this, take varnish with a special cracking effect and apply to the nail plate.
