For this, an iron is prepared, to which details from foamiran are applied. The upper half of the petal must be held for a few seconds, then quickly pressed to the mold. The tips will need to be folded in half, put glue on them and then pressed.
The same procedure must be done with the leaves, which will be located at the base of the flower head and throughout the plant stem.
The next step is to prepare the middle of the sunflower. Strips of 40 cm long and 1 cm wide are cut out of black foamiran. Small cuts are made on them, after which the roll is twisted and fastened with glue. Such a middle will be fluffy and voluminous, and its production will take several minutes.
Assembly of elements
When all the components of the flower are ready, you can start collecting it. Petals are glued alternately to the middle with a thermal gun. The first row consists of 6 elements, each subsequent one - 1-2 more, while they need to be glued in a checkerboard pattern.
In alignment, it is necessary to thicken using a drill, and disposable napkins will be needed. It is recommended to soak them with PVA glue and wrap them around the wire. When the leg has dried, you need to go over it again with glue so that it saturates the paper. The resulting sunflower flower must be fixed on the tip of the wire, pouring hot glue at the base.
After that, the small leaves, one after the other, are staggered at the base of the flower. At the head itself, the wire must be bent. To make the barrel more stable, polymer clay can be used. You will need to process it with the leg to the place where the first sheet is located. Then the rest of the stem is covered with clay until the next leaf, and so the whole wire.
