It is used to create delicate jewelry and make colorful flowers. With the advent of spring, any girl wants to dress up, and dandelion - one of the earliest spring flowers will come in handy here. This article will be useful to those who want to make a dandelion flower with their own hands.

Foamiran, revore or foam are different names for the same material that resembles plastic suede. The main property of foamiran is the ability to easily acquire the desired shape after heat treatment. The second remarkable feature of this material is that it retains its shape even after cooling. From a quality foam, you can make very aesthetic, velvety to the touch crafts, for example, a bouquet of dandelion flowers.

In order to independently produce such a bouquet, we need the following.

• The sheets of foamiran are yellow, white and green with a thickness of 1-1.5 mm. It is advisable to purchase a Korean foam that holds its shape perfectly. It is available in sheets with a thickness of 0.6-1 mm. Iranian and Turkish foam, which have a rich color palette, are also of good quality. It is very convenient to make graceful details from the Iranian foamiran, such as petals and flower leaves. Chinese foamiran is more hard, it bends worse and is not suitable for making flowers.
• Oil pastel, which is great for drawing on velvety, textured paper - this material gives a special soft blur to the painted surface. The pastel should be of two colors: green and brown.
• Acrylic paint brown. Acrylic paints have a very bright colors and resistance to ultraviolet radiation - they do not fade in the sun at all.
• A candle or a lighter - what is at hand or what you like to use more.
• Iron.
• Quick-drying glue, for example, "Second" or any other superglue.
• Floral green teip ribbon with which we will decorate the wire stalk of our dandelion.
• Sharp scissors.
• A ruler with a length of at least 30 cm.
• Paper napkins.
• A few bird feathers.
• Foil.
• Thin wire.
• Any beautiful flower pot.
• Styrofoam.

In addition, we may need wire cutters, a glue gun, a pair of toothpicks. There are many workshops on the Internet with a step-by-step description of the process of making dandelions from foamiran. We bring to your attention a step-by-step description of the process of making a spring bouquet of dandelions, which will look very natural and beautiful.

First, we need to cut several strips from a sheet of yellow foamiran 30-35 cm long and 2-2.5 cm wide. The number of such strips depends on how many dandelion flowers you want to get as a result. Our bouquet will consist of three yellow fluffy dandelions, so we cut three strips. The width and length of such strips also depend on what size dandelions you want to make.

After you have prepared strips for dandelions, we begin to cut them with sharp scissors on one long side of the fringe. It is necessary to cut the strips in such a way as to leave at the opposite edge approximately 0.3-0.5 cm intact.

After you have made a fringe on all three strips, we take in our hands the aluminum wire of the desired length and wrap it with teip tape. We will have three yellow dandelion blossoms and two white, already faded, so we will need three pieces of wire the length you want to make your bouquet. The length of our wire is 10 cm.

Glue our wire to one of the yellow strips with superglue, aligning one end of it with the end of the strip. Superglue needs to be dripped a little and work carefully, trying not to stick fingers. We begin to carefully wrap a paper strip around the wire, applying glue to the edge of the strip with a toothpick in stages, in small sections. So we glue and wrap the entire strip, wrapping it around the stalk wire and trying to make the strip curl evenly and its edges coincide. We also act with the other two yellow stripes.

After all three blanks for dandelions are finished, we take any heating device and begin to achieve realistic flowers. You can use a candle or a lighter, strictly following the rule: do not bring the flower to the flame closer than 10-15 cm, otherwise the petals can be deformed, which will spoil the appearance of the product.

Choose the position of the flower above the flame so that the petals of the outer row themselves easily deviate outward. Having finished with the outer row, we move on to the second and third, adjusting the position of the dandelion above the candle so that the petals, heating up, bend to the right side. You can also use a regular iron at a silk-wool temperature or even a hairdryer, directing a stream of warm air at the dandelion head.

We make sepals from green foamiran. They can be of various shapes, we recommend that you carefully study the structure of dandelion before proceeding with its manufacture, achieving its most natural form. You can use a pre-made template that you will apply to green paper and cut out sepals and leaves of the desired shape and size. You can also cut a strip of green foam 3-3.5 cm wide and cut it into small cloves. Heat this strip on the iron, applying it for 1-2 seconds in order to give our sepals the necessary bend.

Glue a green strip around the flower. We also deal with the other two dandelions. We cut out three more small sepals, consisting of 12 equal petals. We scroll these sepals in the fingers, giving them a natural plastic shape, then we pass through each flower stalk and glue the sepals, decorating the bumps obtained during the formation of the large sepals.

We turn to the manufacture of plant leaves. To do this, you can also make a template by first looking at how the leaves of a real dandelion are arranged. Cut leaves from green foamiran, 1-2 per plant. We draw veins to your taste. Glue the leaves to the aluminum wire, slightly tinting them with green oil pastel.

Now add 1-2 white dandelion flowers to make our bouquet look even more natural. To do this, we need a piece of foil 8 cm long and 6 cm wide, from this piece we need to form a dense ball, which should be made a little flat on one side.

A piece of wire of the desired length with a loop formed at one end is glued to our workpiece. We fit the base of a white dandelion with white foamiran. Wrap a green tape. Glue the sepals from below. We draw brown points with a toothpick, dipping it in acrylic paint.

We cut the thin wire into small pieces a little less than 2 cm long, about 10 pieces of such pieces should be obtained. Wrap the wires with white tape. Paint the bottom of the resulting pieces with brown acrylic paint. Finely chop our bird fluff, dip the end of the small wire blanks into glue, then gently glue the chopped feather.

We pierce holes with a needle in a white dandelion, dip the brown ends of the cut wire into the glue and insert into the resulting small holes. We collect our composition. We form a bouquet, laying the leaves outside and removing the excess wire. Decorate with a green teip ribbon.

We take a flower pot, glue it on the bottom and insert a piece of polystyrene cut into the size of the pot. With a stick we make holes in the foam and one by one we glue our dandelions there. Cover the foam with glue and sprinkle with dried tea leaves, which will simulate the soil.
