Hardware pedicure is gaining more and more popularity every year among the fair sex. It is characterized by increased safety, and also allows girls to keep their legs in perfect condition for a long period of time. Therefore, a lot of beauty salons offer precisely the services of a hardware pedicure, and many girls prefer to carry out such a procedure on their own at home. And for the process to work correctly, you need to purchase caps for pedicure.

Features

One of the leading manufacturers of various grinding caps is the German company Lucas. Her products are of high quality, as well as a long service life. This company has been manufacturing products for over 80 years, each time offering innovative solutions. The result of many years of experience is very convenient to use tools that fully meet the needs of "nail" masters.

In the production process of such nozzles, only premium quality raw materials are used.

The result of serious development was a new series of tips - THERMO. In the process, such a nozzle changes color, warning of the danger of overheating. This technology involves 2 levels of warning about the threat of overheating of the skin, as a result of which the specialist will be able to immediately respond, reducing pressure or after a short pause. Due to this, during processing, there is no discomfort, there is no itching and pain. The risk of burns in the event of overheating of the dermis is minimized.

The main advantages of Lucas grinding caps include:

  • dead skin particles are removed more quickly and carefully;
  • enough minimally applied force to achieve the expected effect;
  • less traumatic - do not harm a healthy dermis;
  • there is no sticking effect of the removed particles of the skin on the sand cap for the pedicure, making it easier to work with the nozzle;
  • the tips fit snugly to the holders - there is no risk that they will “fly off” during use, while they are easily removed and replaced.

Main types

Depending on the shape of the nozzle, its types are distinguished:

  • hemispherical - differ in a rounded tip;
  • cylindrical - have a more elongated shape;
  • conical - characterized by a narrowed tip.

Sand tips for pedicure are produced according to the same principle as sandpaper: an abrasive coating layer is applied to the textile base.

Such tips differ in size:

  • large (their diameter is 11–16 mm), they are used to process large and even surfaces, without bends and irregularities;
  • medium (diameter is 10 mm), are used to polish the dermis of the feet and fingertips;
  • small ones (diameter 5–7 mm) are necessary to grind small areas of the skin, for example, the surface of the fingers, or to remove a small callus.

      Depending on the grain size, the grinding tips also vary.

      1. 60 Grit - a large degree of abrasion. They are used to remove a thick layer of dead skin and get rid of cracks.
      2. 80 Grit - large abrasiveness. They help get rid of corns, rough calluses.
      3. 150 Grit - medium abrasiveness. Used to treat the not too rough surface of the feet, as well as fingertips.
      4. 208 or 320 Grit - minimal abrasiveness. Needed to finally polish the dermis and nail plate.

      Correct Use Recommendations

      Please note: if you go to the beauty salon for a hardware pedicure, then the sand caps for the procedure should be used only once. That is, the master opens a new packaging with a cap with you, and after the procedure is completed, he throws it away. In this case, the treatment of the feet should occur on dry skin.

      This element cannot be used several times, since it cannot be disinfected or sterilized: in contact with water, abrasive spraying crumbles.

      Reusing grinding caps that have already been used to treat the feet of another client is dangerous, because there will be particles of skin on the surface of this product, and this is a favorable soil for the growth of a variety of bacteria.

      If you use grinding caps to make a pedicure for yourself at home, then they can be used until the abrasive layer is present.

        The stop processing procedure is as follows:

        • dead skin should be removed using a cap for pedicure with a grain size ranging from 60 to 80, while such a part should be large in diameter;
        • then you need to polish the feet, heels and fingers with a product that has an average grain size of 150;
        • at the final stage, the tip with the finest grain size is used - 320.

        When choosing one or another version of accessories for a hardware pedicure, pay attention to the condition of your dermis and the technical parameters of this device, since not all nozzles can be combined with a specific model of a device for conducting a pedicure.
