In simple words, this is the technique of cutting out a pattern from special napkins and sticking to an object. It has existed for several centuries and is very popular today, as, in fact, it is very simple and affordable. When decorating interior doors it is worth considering the overall interior design of the room or the entire apartment if you plan to expose all the doors.

It is doubly pleasant when the work done pleases the eye and gives aesthetic pleasure, especially in the absence of the ability to replace old doors with new ones. There is still a number of nozzles for a drill or grinder, but some difficulty with this method of removing the old coating is that the pressure must be uniform, otherwise the surface may become uneven. After stripping in any way, you need to walk along the surface with fine grain sandpaper. Then clean the entire door of dustby wiping with a rag. In hard to reach places, a brush is used. It is not necessary to paint the canvas with one color, sometimes the combined coloring looks more interesting.

It is worth considering the final result in advance, but if necessary, make adjustments in the process. The pattern should look harmonious and stand out spectacularly. Depending on the style of design, these can be either monochrome images or quite contrasting ones. In addition to floral ornaments, birds, animals, fairy-tale and cartoon characters, trees, and geometric figures are popular.

Mark the areas that you want to highlight, “by eye”, and paint them with the desired color along the lines. There is no need to try hard not to go beyond the boundaries of the lines - there will be nothing wrong if some sections are not ideal, provided that proportions are nevertheless preserved. The result will be the effect, as if the whole picture was drawn by hand, which will add a high cost to the door. After all, as you know, manual work is valued higher.

When everything is ready, carefully look at your creation once again: does everything suit you or do you need to add something else.
