How to pack a square and rectangular gift?

Square or rectangular gifts and surprises are the most common solutions. Due to the simplicity of execution, unlike, for example, round and multifaceted gifts of a non-standard look, they require a minimum of imagination for decoration, and their packaging can be completed in just a few minutes.

Square or rectangular presentations, such as a box of gourmet chocolates or a small cake presented as a surprise to your girlfriend, In addition to gift wrapping, they require the following:

• Kraft paper - any decorative, bright and colorful external coating that matches the style of the surprise format that you present to a person close to you;
• strapping tape - any satin, lace or plastic, can be supplemented or replaced with a similarly trimmed twine;
• double sided tape.

If desired, printing ink with sequins or special glossy shimmer can be purchased. It is needed when the store did not find the right sample of decorative paper, but there is an idea how to fix this misunderstanding.

Before you start wrapping a surprise with gift paper, if you are not sure, it is recommended to practice on old wallpaper or a newspaper. In other words, you need to cut a piece of the desired shape and wrap it with a decorated box. Next, the same packaging is made of decorated paper.

If you are confident in your actions, then to pack a square gift, do the following:

• choose a sheet of decorative paper that is suitable in size and color and place a box with a surprise in the middle;
• first wrap the paper around the box along the main edges of the latter;
• fix the paper at the junction using double-sided tape;
• bend the paper at the ends like picking up an envelope ready for gluing;
• fold the ends of the paper at the end as they stick together the cut envelope, and secure it with the same adhesive tape;
• repeat the two previous steps for the other end of the box;
• wrapping the box with a wrapper, decorate it with a beautiful ribbon with a bow on top.

The surprise of the square shape is ready for delivery.

If you act not by eye, but clearly and accurately, and also you have extra time, you can measure the box and draw gift paper from the wrong side. The method is good because in this case you will not cut off the excess. The same thing will work if the gift is not just rectangular, but also long.

Therefore, a set of sweets with different fillings from different companies is bought, or several “of the same type” chocolates are purchased, then a suitable package is selected for them. The same can be said for boxes of chocolates or cakes - these surprises are often not flat.
• Basket with a set of cosmetics / perfumes, which there is no time or desire to wrap and decorate for a long time, but suddenly there was a rectangular or “cube” package suitable in size. The latter is then executed according to the above scheme.

It is strictly not recommended to use boxes from the same iPhone as packaging, for example, if it is not possible to glue the wrapping paper tightly on them. Your beloved may perceive such a reference to an expensive brand, hinting in response to the fact that you did not give her exactly the same or equivalent in terms of functionality and high cost surprise.

Wrapping your surprise in wrapping paper without a gift ribbon is a sign of negligence.

If you don’t have finished decorated paper at hand, then you can use simple kraft paper without any factory decorations, and make the original design yourself before directly packing up the present.

In addition to paper, scissors and scotch tape, multi-colored acrylic paints and a brush may also be required.

So, the surprise is packaged in kraft paper according to one of the above instructions. Now do the following:

• open one or several cans of paint of the required colors;
• take a little white paint with a brush and use wide sweeping movements to spray the kraft paper, the picture should turn out the way you want;
• do the same with another paint, for example, pink or brown - the picture created with the help of spray is completely ready;
• Having finished coloring the kraft paper, wrap it with your surprise and decorate it with decorative ribbon.

You can draw a picture or depict a suitable image on kraft paper before you wrap the package with a surprise. The main thing is that after applying the desired pattern, let the paper itself dry well so as not to smear the image and not to stain the gift itself.

Instead of acrylic paints, colored pencils, felt-tip pens and sparkles are also used. There are even special markers and leads of various colors in which these spangles are already contained - it is not necessary to apply them separately.
