How to pack a round gift?

A surprise may not necessarily be a rectangular or square shape, boring to many. You can give a thing that was originally placed in a round package, or if it is itself round.

Here, the gift wrapper does not differ in performance from that used in the packaging of surprises in a standard form. There is a difference between a round or oval and a rectangular surprise. To wrap a round gift with your own hands, do the following:

1. measure the width and height of the package, add 2-3 cm to the resulting dimensions;
2. unfold the packaging to the side and remove the lid from it;
3. wrap the packaging in a freshly cut piece of paper - while the allowance from the top and bottom of 1-1.5 cm remains;
4. cut a circle from the paper, smaller in diameter than the bottom side of the package, and glue it in the center;
5. repeat the previous paragraph of this instruction for the box lid, but making the diameter of the paper circle, on the contrary, large;
6. cut the strip 1.5 cm wider than the height of the box, wrap it around, bend the edge in the form of elegant folds.

Not always a gift can be round on all sides, like a ball, or oval, like an egg. Most often, packaging for round surprises is made out as follows:

1. the sheet is cut to a size slightly larger than the height and radius of the cylinder;
2. the paper is applied on one side and encircled to form folds in the upper and lower parts of the box, forming folds converging in the center.

If the gift is small-sized - for example, a box with a gold or silver ring, jewelry, a chain that has an oval or round shape in itself - do not make the wrapper too thick and layered: all the charm and charm of such a surprise will be lost.

You can use an open or half-open box of any shape - even rectangular, but at the same time decorate your present so that the second package does not completely hide the shape of the first, but emphasizes it beautifully.

A less common, but also common option. Oval, round or cylindrical packaging with a gift can be enclosed in an envelope. If the gift is quite large, a decorative bag can be used.

Round candies are associated with gourmet chocolate from an elite manufacturer. Round, oval or cylindrical packaging with a surprise is also decorated in a "candy" style. Do the following:

1. cut a strip of paper that is much higher than the height of the package (1.5-2 times);
2. wrap the gift wrapping in this paper, you will have an allowance on each of both sides;
3. pull off the ends of the packaging with elegant folds, the ends of the gift ribbon on both sides;
4. position the ends of the wrapper most beautifully: you can neatly and symmetrically incise them to get a luxurious pattern in the form of a tail - this action is determined by the imagination and creativity of the donor and / or decorator.

A cylindrical “candy” is similar, for example, to a real chocolate “Jaco - Figured barrel”. Round resembles, say, a real candy “Cinderella” or “Korkunov”. After making a “candy-shaped” surprise, you can additionally decorate it with splashes of decorative acrylic paint, paint it with special markers with sparkles, glue tape segments of other colors folded into a fancy pattern and so on.

Surprise round shape, without packaging, it is easy to place in a standard square package, which has special inserts to hold it. An oval gift is placed in a rectangular package matching its height. The package has either a transparent window, or is formed in the form of a house, where the "attic" is not closed from the sides - the recipient already sees that the surprise itself is round, but will get a complete idea only by opening it.

Desserts are the first to come to the donor's mind - be it a large chocolate egg or a product decorated in the form of a completely oval “nested doll”, “Potato”, “Raffaello” cakes, a cupcake or a round cake, a cake packed at a confectionery factory, a cylindrical box of chocolates.
