Alimentary puppy: what does it mean?

Breeding a purebred breed is not so easy, because the cost of maintaining dogs sometimes exceeds the cost of puppies. For this reason, some breeders raise a female, others - cables.

Only in kennels of dogs breed both sexes. These establishments exist due to the fact that offer quality puppies with a pure pedigree. All profits from the sale, like young animals, belong to the nursery. In another case, the owner of the cable has the right to choose one puppy, which plays the role of paying for the mating. It is called alimentary. Subsequently, it is sold or left to itself. Sometimes mating owners of purebred males require a monetary reward. This happens when puppies are quite expensive and not so easy to sell them.

After mating and giving birth to puppies, one is given as payment. Such actions are fully justified when it comes to the breed that is in demand on the market. As for rare animals or expensive ones, in this case the lawyer draws up a civil law act, sometimes a referral for mating.

The contract is drawn up in such a way that one of the parties understands that it has a legal right to receive an alimentary puppy after mating. In the body of this direction, not only conditions are prescribed, but also the following information:

• form of payment;
• the number of puppies given;
• the right to pick up a dog after birth.

Most often, only one puppy is considered alimentary, in rare cases, the owner of the cable requires two. This happens when it comes to a very rare or expensive breed. If this happens, then all the conditions are spoken out before mating, so that later there are no contentious situations.

Sometimes the owners agree among themselves that the one who holds the bitch will be the first to choose the puppies, since he has to spend on vaccinations, good nutrition. For the same reason, most dog breeders prefer to give money for a mating, not a dog. This option is negotiated in advance, because sometimes it is more profitable to take a puppy than to receive monetary compensation for it.

Only an experienced breeder can understand which puppy is alimentary. He is required to make the right choice from the entire litter. Attention is paid to those individuals that have excellent health, active, fully consistent with the breed in color and other characteristics. Often, for such puppies, the owners of bitches are ready to offer a lot of money, because when selling, the dog will still cost more than the rest of the puppies in the litter. It is worth saying that the exclusivity of the described individual is always determined by eye. No dog breeder can say with a 100% guarantee that in a few months the selected dog will turn out to be the best or pathologies will not come out.

The initial cost is based on external signs. Puppies that look more active are also considered healthier. Characteristics must be fully consistent with the breed. Beginners often have to deal with a situation where the owner of a bitch offers a sick puppy at the expense of payment. Therefore, it is better to consult a veterinarian so that he can evaluate the health of the individual.

Do not forget that after the birth of the puppies, all expenses are borne by the owner of the bitch. That is why it is absolutely true that when giving birth to a small litter, namely less than five dogs, giving one is too much cost per mating. In this case, dog breeders try to pay with money, but not all cable owners like this state of affairs. In this case, an agreement providing for such circumstances could resolve all disputes.

Only a few experienced dog breeders are able to choose the right kitten as payment for a mating. First of all, they check the pedigree of the dog, the first one they like does not fit, personal sympathy is pushed into the background.

The presence of veterinary knowledge or a specialist call allows you to determine the presence of birth injuries, pathologies and other deviations that an inexperienced breeder may not notice. The playfulness and activity of the dog also play a decisive role in the selection. The nature of the animal must be taken into account, since leadership qualities are evident from the first months.

When choosing some dog breeds, you should pay attention to the following points:

• German shepherd puppies are not passive if there are signs of apathy, the dog may have health problems;
• when choosing a Yorkshire terrier, the determining factor should be wool, which is long for representatives of the breed, there is no undercoat;
• in beagles, the color should be three-level, but by the age of two months they become black and white;
• Labrador puppy is required to choose by saggy ears, short but dense coat and fatness;
• puppies of canne corso have black hair, they should be selected by bite, but the difficulty is that its final formation occurs only by the 8th month;
• Pugs must always have a black mark on their forehead; it usually has the shape of a star or a rhombus.

You can easily and simply determine the puppy’s temperament. This will require a few exercises as a test. The dog, which is supposed to be taken as an alimentary, must be removed for some time in an unfamiliar room. There she is planted in the middle of the floor and starting to clap her hands. If a pet quickly runs to its feet, then it is perfectly socialized.

The speed with which in the future the puppy will perceive the owner’s commands is also checked simply. To do this, the dog is placed on its knees with the belly to the top and held with the palm of your hand for 30 seconds. If the animal lies calmly, it means that there will be no problems with training; if it breaks out, it will take more time to train. Most dog breeders during the evaluation of puppies raise them above their heads and keep them at a height of several minutes. This assesses the ability to react correctly in unforeseen situations. The puppy must remain calm.

In order not to miscalculate with an alimentary puppy, the owner of the cable should carefully choose a pair for the dog. The bitch must have excellent health, be quite mature and have an ideal pedigree. Among other things, the dog breeder must know for sure whether he can then attach the puppy or is it better to take it with money. Particular attention is paid to the grooming of the dog’s owners during and after pregnancy. Puppies can be born healthy, but due to poor care, by the time they select an alimentary puppy, they will get sick and grow weak.

Previously, mating dogs is forbidden by the rules and for good reason. The dog’s body is not fully formed; accordingly, the animal cannot produce healthy offspring. Childbirth has a special psychological effect on the dog, so young individuals often become mentally unstable. The ideal time for mating is the third estrus.
