Not only the comfort of its use, but also the very possibility of preparing certain dishes often depends on the quality and characteristics of the selected pan. Therefore, choosing dishes, it is worth familiarizing yourself with an overview of the popular VITESSE pan models.

    Brand Information

    The rights to the VITESSE trademark belong to the French company VITESSE FRANCE S. A. R. L., which was founded in the early 2000s and was originally exclusively engaged in the production of cookware and other kitchen utensils made of stainless steel. In 2007, the company’s product range expanded to include household appliances and utensils made from other materials, in particular aluminum, ceramics and cast iron.

      Currently, the company’s catalog contains about 1000 different types of dishes and other kitchen equipment. There are black pages in the history of the company. For example, a court lost in 2009 against the Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation, when a company had to pay a fine and admit that all of its production facilities are located in China, and not in France.

      Features

      All VITESSE cookware models are equipped with a heat storage bottom that collects heat from the burners. Its presence allows dishes to reach the pan when the burner is off, which saves electricity or gas. This bottom configuration allows you to cook with a minimum amount of oil or water, which favorably affects the taste and nutritional value of the resulting dishes.

      All products of the company have passed the certification of Rospotrebnadzor and do not contain any harmful or dangerous materials and impurities.

      Varieties

      The greatest influence on the properties of the pan has the material from which it is made. The French brand offers its customers dishes from different materials.

      • Steel. Products are distinguished by their beautiful appearance, relatively low weight, average heating rate and resistance to rust.
      • Cast iron. The heaviest and most fragile material used for the manufacture of kitchen utensils, in addition, its appearance is unpresentable, and the surface is very difficult to wash. But the cast-iron dishes do not rust, heats up for a long time and cools very slowly, which makes it possible to ensure the ideal temperature for many dishes of different cuisines.
      • Aluminum. Utensils are characterized by minimal weight, affordable price and long service life. However, aluminum is inferior to steel in terms of resistance to mechanical damage, products made of it quickly heat up, which is not very suitable for cooking gourmet dishes. In addition, damage to the non-stick coating in such a pan will result in the burning of dishes, which is uncharacteristic for products from other materials.

      The second most important indicator is the coating that is applied to the working part of the product. The frying pans offered by the company can have:

      • granite - different elegant appearance, environmental friendliness, ease of care and high price;
      • ceramic - Reliably protects against burning, but is sensitive to mechanical damage;
      • combined titanium granite - cheaper than granite and eliminates burning;
      • from enamel - It is used exclusively for cast iron models to give them an aesthetic appearance.

      Vitess pan designs:

      • universalthat can be used for frying and stewing any dishes;
      • pancake with low sides for easy frying pancakes;
      • grilled frying pans, due to which the products do not stick, are not completely in oil and not only fried, but also partially steamed;
      • wok - traditional Chinese deep frying pans with two handles for frying with constant stirring, well suited for cooking pilaf and other oriental dishes;
      • braziers which can be used as a frying pan or used for baking in the oven;
      • stewpan - a hybrid of pans and pans, which is used to stew vegetables, mushrooms and meat.

      In size, models are distinguished:

      • small, the diameter of which is in the range from 18 to 22 cm;
      • large, the diameter of which is from 24 to 30 cm.

      In addition to the pan itself, the package may include:

      • cover made of heat-resistant glass;
      • removable handles;
      • removable dividers for separate preparation of several small portions;
      • gratings on which ready-made portions can be laid out with the aim of heating them.
