How to write a specialization in a resume?

To make it easier to navigate the indication of specialization in the resume, we introduce a certain hierarchy. Work is a collective concept: you are looking for a well-paid and modern activity in general. Profession is a business that you will be busy with in life. Specialty is what you studied for. Specialization is something that you have clearly identified in the specialty you received.

When in the resume the applicant indicates detailed information about professional knowledge, skills and qualities, specialization must indicate specialization after the column “Education” and before “Experience”. Without specifying the specialization, the recruiter or director of the company’s department, where you are trying to get a job, will ask a specific question - what and with whom exactly will you work.

For example, if you are a radio engineer by training, then the diploma, for example, will indicate the specialty Radio Engineering, Radio Electronics, or a similar one. By profession you are an engineer, technical specialist, by profession you are well versed in electronics. And with what you will work - with climate and household appliances, with mobile gadgets (smartphones, tablets, ultrabooks, smart watches, trackers and the like) - this is for you to specify.

If you have taken, for example, training courses on maintenance, diagnostics, replacement of accessories for smartphones and tablets from Samsung, Sony and Apple, an intelligent recruiter or manager will immediately understand that your specialty is maintenance and repair of mobile devices.
