Prepare for work:

• One meter of satin. From this fabric we will sew the lower skirt and belt.
• One meter of tulle. For a fluffy skirt with ruffles, we need material 1.5 meters wide.

For sewing you need to do the following:

• Fold the tulle in half and mark strips on it, the width of which will be 16 cm (for the strip itself 15 cm and for an allowance of 1 cm). In total, five strips should be obtained, and each length will be 1.5 meters.

Cut the tulle into strips and sew them together to form a 7.5-meter-long piece.

Further:

• Work one edge of the tulle detail with an oblique trim so that the product keeps its shape.
• Sew the edges of the tulle strip to make a circle.
• Make along the edge, which will be sewn to the belt, two lines located parallel to each other. Lower thread tension should be set to 0.
• Stitch sewn stitches to get the upper skirt.

• Cut out a pattern from the satin for the lower skirt of the “sun” style. For this, the material is folded four times. The radius of the belt for a girl with a waist of 55 cm will be 20 cm. The length of the skirt is also 20 cm. Do not forget to leave 1 cm at the top and bottom to bend the skirt and sew it to the belt.
• Fold the bottom of the satin skirt and sew it.
• Cut a part for the belt from the atlas, which will be a rectangle about 70 cm long and 12 cm wide.
• Sizing the belt with non-woven fabric.

To make such a skirt, you will need:

• Atlas cut for the belt. Its width will be 12 cm, and its length will be two girths of the girl’s waist.
• Two veil sections with a length of 4 girths of a waist. One of them will be designed for the lower skirt, and the second (it will be slightly shorter) we use for the upper skirt. The width of the cut is selected depending on the height of the child. We will pick up both cuts to get parts with a length corresponding to two waist girths.
• One piece of veil for the frill of the upper skirt. The length of such a cut will be eight waist girths, and the width should be 12 cm. The cut should be tied up to obtain a part with four waist girths, which are sewn to the bottom of the upper skirt.
• Pink transparent ruffle, which will be used to trim the frill sewn to the upper skirt. Its width will be about 5 cm.

All edges are processed with an overlock or a zigzag seam. To make folds on the skirts, you need to lay a line with a wide pitch, and then pull the thread to form folds. The same line is made in the middle of the pink ruffle, and after it is pulled together, a lush assembly is formed.

Next, stepwise stitching of the parts is performed - first, sew a pink ruffle to the frill, then a frill to the upper skirt, after which both skirts are sewn to the belt. In conclusion, an elastic band is inserted into the belt.
