Lamps made of such a popular material as Isolon can be an excellent solution for decorating a room. To do this, you need a few improvised tools, blanks and step-by-step instructions. What can be a lamp?
If you decide to start manufacturing a luminaire from polyethylene foam, as they also call Isolon, there may be several options. You can make a large flower that shines brightly or becomes a night lamp in your bedroom. At your disposal should be a sleeve made of plastic, the diameter of which corresponds to the lampholder. You will need an LED lamp and a cartridge of the selected shape, transparency and power. For the luminaire to work, you need an insulated flexible wire, plug and switch.

As for the tools with which you will work, it should be a hairdryer and scissors, threads with a needle, a glue gun and a stapler. The most important step is fixing the wire to the lamp. As a stand, you can use a weighted container, it can be a basket or a pot filled with cement mortar, where the flower stalk will be fixed. For artistic painting, you need thin brushes, acrylic paints, a sponge and glossy varnish to create the dew effect - it all depends on the flight of your imagination.
Manufacturing process
First of all, you need to choose the type of flower, and then determine its size and height. If you like roses, why not make a lamp in the form of your favorite plant. After the elements are prepared, you can collect the bud for the floor lamp. The petals are alternately and staggered to adhere to the coupling. In the first row are the smallest elements, then more and more. To ensure a long service life of flowers, it is recommended to use not only glue, but also fasten the petals to each other using a stapler or stitch them in inconspicuous places. The thinner the isolon, the more petals for the bud will be needed to make the bud look lush.
Streaks can be made on the leaves and petals by staining them with a thin brush and acrylic paints. You can set yourself a natural rose as an example, examine its structure and convey it in your product. A plastic or metal pipe is used as a support, depending on what you have prepared. It is necessary to cut the desired length and twist the ring from one end (if it is a flexible pipe) so that the structure can stand. To give the stem a natural look, it needs to be slightly bent.
You can connect the wiring yourself, observing the rules of electrical work. The conductor is threaded through the ceiling and passes through the stem tube. The upper part of the support must be glued to the coupling using a gun. To hide traces of glue, just use previously prepared sepals and decorate the top of the stem. The bud itself with a ceiling are fastened with durable glue. A flower will not look natural if there are no leaves. To do this, the blanks are cut out from the green isolon in the same way, a hairdryer is given a natural shape. Streaks are also painted with a thin brush. You can create a dew effect using glossy varnish as drops.

To get a working floor lamp, you must connect the lamp to the mains. To do this, the cable is processed, its ends are stripped to connect them to the plug. If you plan to use a switch, the wire is drawn through it. Then it remains to screw a bulb into the cartridge and check your lamp.
