Next, you need to do the preparation of the bottom. To make the bottom more durable, it should be made of very dense cardboard or plywood. It will take two pieces of material. If the house is planned to be made round, then the blanks should be the same.

Glue newspaper tubes to the inside of one part so that the long side diverges in different directions. Glue on 2 centimeters of each newspaper tube. At the same time, the edge itself must be flattened well. The distance between them should be at least 1-2 centimeters. When all the tubes are glued, the second cut piece of cardboard must be glued on top. In this way, the tubes will hold more firmly. Glued tubules will serve as a frame for the future cat house.

Next, you need to take one tube, flatten its edge and stick it to any part of the bottom. After that, you need to get it from the outside for one of the tubes of the frame. Then thread it from the inside. Thus, it is necessary to do until the entire tube ends. After that, a second tube should be inserted into its end, smearing the end with glue and also flattened a little. Next, we need to continue weaving to the place where the entrance to the house will be. It must be not only highlighted, but also well braided over the entire edge to make it more durable. When the entrance is finished, you can continue weaving in a circle to the desired height.

You can complete the wicker house by wrapping the tubes inward and fixing them with glue. The roof can also be cut out of cardboard or weaved from tubules. Then it must be glued to the walls of the house. At the bottom of the house you can put a soft pillow to make it comfortable for your pet to sleep.

Therefore, as soon as the first dries, you need to apply a second coat of paint. You can use either one color or several.
