• LW-IR-HG 002 - different violet color of the case.

• LW-IR-HG 011 - differs from previous models in that it is sold under the Reinold Deluxe brand and has a white body color;

• LW-IR 001 - a model from the 2017 line, it differs by a weight of 1.8 kg and a vapor pressure of 6 bar, other characteristics are similar to LW-IR-HG 001;

• LW-IR 002 - differs from the previous version in the white color of the case.

Previously, the company produced modification of the steam iron Reinold Deluxe, related to the 2016 model range with features similar models LW-IR 001 and LW-IR 002, but now this option is discontinued.

• Tank volume. The larger the water tank has, the longer the device can be used continuously.

• Pressure and steam consumption. It is the vapor pressure that determines the efficiency of ironing. If this parameter is more than 3.5 bar - the iron will confidently cope with most ironing tasks on a horizontal board. Pressure above 5 bar will allow the product to be used for vertical steam. A pressure of 7 bar guarantees efficient operation both in horizontal and in vertical steaming, it allows ironing clothes in several layers and smoothing even the most stable folds on coarse fabrics.

• Power. For most products, the steam flow rate and the temperature to which the soleplate is heated directly depend on the electrical power consumed. Options with power less than 0.5 kW, most likely, will not allow you to create sufficient vapor pressure. At the same time, devices with a capacity of more than 2 kW, although they will be able to cope with any fabrics and folds, will cost quite expensive to operate in terms of electricity bills.

• Soles Currently, the following materials are used for the production of iron soles:
  • aluminum - such irons are lighter and cheaper than analogues, heat up faster and move very easily through fabrics, but break faster than products with soles made of more durable materials;
  • stainless steel - stronger and heavier than aluminum, moreover, easier to care for;
  • ceramics - with a careful attitude, it lasts much longer than steel and aluminum, differs in ease and quick sliding on fabrics, but is subject to brittle fracture during falls and impacts;
  • teflon - It can be used for ironing any fabrics, but it deteriorates in contact with metal and other solid hardware.

• Additional functions. The most useful option that you should pay attention to when buying a steam iron is steam boost. Its use allows you to smooth out dry things with a lot of complex folds. The essence of steam boost is short-term steam supply with an increased flow rate.

Another important characteristic is the presence of an anti-drip system, which avoids the ejection of water droplets through the nozzles of the soleplate. All Loewe irons are equipped with such a system.

Before use, the tank must be completely filled with water. Wait until it is completely heated and just in case, direct the first stream of steam away from things to avoid drips. After completing the ironing, you need to make a few more “empty volleys” of steam to remove its residues from the steam line, and then drain the remaining water from the tank.

Make sure that during the work the steam stream does not fall on your hands - it is fraught with burns. Also avoid touching the heated sole of the iron.
