In everyday life, refined gasoline is often used for lighters and gas burners. Such a solution is mainly used to remove oil paints and varnishes. However, refined gasoline also softens the mounting foam well. The advantage of this tool is the absence of components in the composition that could leave traces of dirt on the fabric.

Almost every female in the house has a cosmetic product for removing nail polish. If acetone is part of such a liquid, the product can be safely used to remove the mounting foam. However, a nail polish remover can only cope with fresh spots.

Sunflower oil acts on polyurethane foam sealant no worse than solvents. For the best effect, it is recommended to warm the oil before applying it to the contaminated area. The disadvantage of this method is the appearance of greasy oil stains on clothes, getting rid of which will not be so easy.

• Soudal. Soudal polyurethane foam cleaning products are available as a spray and special paste. Aerosol helps to cope only with fresh traces. Compared to paste, this type of cleaner is not expensive.

Soudal paste for cleaning cured foam is more expensive than many aerosols. However, this disadvantage is offset by the high quality of the product and low consumption. Buyers highlight the following advantages of this tool:

• under the influence of freezing temperatures;

Then the thing must be removed in the freezer until the stains from the foam completely freeze. After the sealant has hardened, the contaminated area is cleaned with a knife blade. You can clean old jeans or a canvas jacket with a long exposure to high temperatures. Things must be hung in such a way that direct sunlight falls on them and leave them for several days. Contaminated tissue areas should be rubbed with your hands as often as possible so that the foam leaves the material better.
