Not every hostess regularly makes cakes with her own hands. Therefore, special convenient containers for baking are not in every house. And sometimes the available ones are not quite suitable in size for a specific design. Therefore, igniting the idea to please loved ones with a sweet masterpiece, many are faced with the problem of how to make a cake mold with your own hands from improvised means. There are various options for solving this problem at home.
Foil
As practice shows, if you want to create a sweet masterpiece, you can, without resorting to using special baking accessories. To achieve the desired, a little imagination and the most ordinary materials that are at hand for every cook are required. To bake a biscuit, if there is no form, you can use the foil that is available in any kitchen. As a basis for creating a suitable capacity, you will need a pan or other kitchen utensil that has the right dimensions. A foil is put on it. The walls are sealed and secured with a stapler.
When working, you should carefully handle the foil, so as not to accidentally tear it. If an improvised tortoise-maker should replace a special detachable one, one seam can be left unfastened.
The blank must be made of sufficient thickness so that it does not creep under the influence of the mass of the dough during its pouring in. Previously, the baking dish must be greased with oil.
Parchment
As in the case of foil, to give the right kind of parchment container, the cake pan will require a rigid base. Wet baking paper is laid on it in several layers, carefully pressed and compacted.Then the resulting structure is placed in a warm place so that it is completely dry. When this happens, the paper can be separated from the pots or jars that are used. Thus, a one-time cake mold is obtained.
Plastic bottles
To make a cake in the shape of a heart, you can use plastic bottles of 1.5–2 liters. It will take 2 identical bottles. From them you need to separate the bottom and upper parts with a neck. After cutting each bottle along the length, 2 rectangles are obtained. They are fastened together with a stapler so that a heart shape is formed. However, nothing prevents to make a regular circle, which is set on a baking sheet.
Cans
From such material, you can create a reusable form. For work you will need:
- tin (aluminum) cans;
- scissors for metal;
- pliers;
- ruler.
The bottom and top of the cans need to be cut with scissors. Cut blanks vertically and straighten.
Give them the desired height and connect so that a circle of the desired diameter is obtained. The edges of the plates are fastened very carefully so that the finished cakes can be easily removed.
Cardboard
To create a capacity you need to use:
- cardboard and paper;
- stapler;
- scissors.
A rectangular bottom shape is cut out of cardboard for the future cake maker. The walls are prepared from paper. The resulting paper strips are fastened together and with the bottom. Parchment should be placed inside the container before baking.
Instead of the factory capacity for baking, you can use any thick cardboard and scotch tape. It’s not even necessary to make the bottom of the tortoise, as in the previous case. In this capacity, the usual deep baking tray can act.
With this approach, walls are built using cardboard to make it possible to bake cakes of the right height. Four parts of a rectangular shape without a bottom are connected with tape. To make the cake, avoiding contact of the dough with materials of an impromptu torte, it is previously recommended to tighten with cling film.
Plastic folders
Office supplies work well when assembling a cake. The middle of the folder with the fastening part, which fixes the paper inside, is cut out from the folder used. On one side, plastic sheets are held together with a stapler. On the other hand, they can be fixed with tape. This will make the form detachable. It will be easy to remove after the formation of a ready-to-eat dessert.
