This image is often taken as the basis for creating jewelry, designer compositions and various crafts. Using a small set of tools and materials, you can make a charming kanzashi butterfly.

Colorful insects made from satin ribbons and other improvised materials will look great as a complement to a hairstyle, brooch or other decoration. Kanzashi technique came to us from Japan and quickly gained popularity. She can be mastered without problems not only by an experienced needlewoman, but also by a novice craftswoman.

The main material is satin fabric. It is affordable and presented in a wide variety of colors. You can make a butterfly in pastel shades, or use colorful and saturated colors. The main elements of crafts are fabric petals, which differ in shape and size.

Before creating crafts, it is necessary to process satin fabric. The edges of the material should be scorched with a candle, lighter or blowtorch. If this is not done, threads will stick out at the edges of the fabric, and the product will look sloppy.

To make an interesting and bright craft in the form of a butterfly, it is necessary to prepare a number of materials and tools.

• Satin ribbons. It is recommended to prepare a kit that includes tapes of different colors and widths.
• Beads.

• Thick fishing line. To work with beads, it is recommended to use a fishing line. It is thick and thin.

To complete the craft, you will need the following:

• 2 squares of satin fabric measuring 5x5 cm;
• fishing line;
• beads of any color;
• sequins;
• glue or glue gun.

Step-by-step execution includes several actions.

1. Pieces of fabric material need to be treated with glue, carefully folded in half and glued. During operation, make sure that the atlas is folded evenly.
2. The resulting triangle must be folded again. We bend the tips and glue them securely. The first element is ready.
3. According to the same scheme, we make another detail - these are the wings of the future butterfly.
4. If everything is done correctly, we get an element whose bent edge is slightly raised towards the middle.
5. At the fold, you need to cut a neat recess.
6. The edges of the recess are treated with fire. As a result of processing, they will become wavy.
7. Now move on to other materials. Beads and beads must be strung on a fishing line. We fix them with glue. This is a butterfly body.
8. To make antennae, you can string beads on small pieces of fishing line, or make them using thin strips of cardboard and thin strips of textile.
9. We glue a small piece of thick paper or cardboard with a cloth. We fasten the body to it.
10. We glue the fabric petals to the body of beads, placing them on both sides on the same level.

For the manufacture of such crafts, you need to prepare the following materials:

• 4 squares of red satin measuring 5x5 centimeters;
• as many elements of yellow (gold) fabric, the same size;
• strong fishing line;
• beads;

Let's analyze the scheme of work.

1. First you need to make 4 narrow petals. We will need 2 elements of gold and 2 elements of red colors. It is recommended that you use the basic assembly scheme for narrow or pointed kanzashi petals.
2. Next, we take a material of a different color, and from it we make 4 more elements, but now in a rounded shape. Refer to the diagram below.
3. The result should be 8 parts: 4 sharp petals (2 yellow and 2 red) and 4 rounded petals (2 yellow and 2 red). We add one element of two parts of different colors, but of the same shape.
4. Now you need to make the body and antennae of the butterfly. To do this, take a small piece of wire, fold it in half, string a small bead, fix it with glue and then string three more large beads (in this case, a small decorative element acts as a fastener for larger ones).
5. Two edges of the fishing line will stick out from the core - these are the antennae of the insect. If desired, they can be shortened. Decorate the tips with beads or rhinestones.
6. Four wings must be connected in pairs and attached to the body with glue. Sharp elements are the upper wings, and rounded ones are the lower part.
7. Now the finished craft can be decorated to your liking.

Using Japanese technique, you can make a bow tie for a man or boy.

For work you will need:

• scissors;
• pieces of fabric (2 pieces - 11 centimeters long, 5 centimeters wide; 1 piece - the same width and 25 centimeters long, 1 piece of the same width and 7 centimeters long);
• threads and needles;
• chalk or a bar of dry soap;
• invisible.

1. A piece of fabric 11 centimeters long must be folded at an angle.
2. After we fold the element in half and fix it with a pin or invisible.
3. We make the same detail. Here is what should happen.
4. Sew two fabric elements to the bottom with large stitches.
5. And after we sew them.
6. Now we take the largest tape (25 cm). Tucked around the edges, leaving a small overlap of 1 cm.
7. In the middle, we sew the part with stitch stitches.
8. We give the element the desired shape by tightening the thread.
9. Sew together two parts. The butterfly is ready.
10. A piece of 7 centimeters long is folded in half, placed in the center of the butterfly, overlapping stitches, sew together.

• Instead of beads, large plastic stones can be used to make the body. They can be bought at any sewing or needlework store. With such an element, the decoration will look especially expressive.
• To make the crafts more delicate, the edges of the butterfly are decorated with light lace. And also its small pieces are attached to the wings.
• If at hand there was no fabric of the required color, the finished product can be painted with paint from a spray can. Pay attention to the gold and silver colors.
• For quick and easy decoration, use glitter glue in a tube format.
