Cutting skirts consists of several stages:

• Gently transfer the pattern to the fabric.
• You need to cut the fabric along the lines that go through the letters.
• Add one centimeter around the entire perimeter for the future seam and cut.

Before sewing a skirt, you must first make a belt. To make a belt five centimeters wide, you need to take a strip of fabric twelve centimeters wide, and the length will be calculated by the formula: half waist circumference + 7 centimeters.

• The entire strip from the wrong side should be glued with a special tape.
• Using an overlock or zigzag seam, the edges of the girdle should be sewn along the entire length.
• Now you should connect the product on the sides, with one centimeter going to allowance.

After that, you can proceed to tailoring the skirt of the conical cut:

• First, glue the adhesive tape on two sides of the semicircle, which shows the waist line. Its size will be the size of a zipper + 2 centimeters.
• Then you need to process the edges and sew together from bottom to top of the side that connects the semicircle of the bottom and waist. At the same time, it is worth leaving a certain gap to the waistline untouched, it will be equal to the length of the zipper.
• Next, you need to sew in the zipper.
• Carefully iron the rear seam with an iron.
• The bottom of the product must be processed using a machine, overlock or manually.

It remains only to sew a belt to the product:

• It is necessary to retreat three centimeters from the edge of the girdle, the entire remaining length must be divided into two equal parts.
• Connect the middle of the skirt to the middle of the belt with the front side and sew on.
• Three centimeters allow you to create a loop on the left side, the diameter of which will be 2 millimeters larger than the diameter of the button. Then we sew the button on the other side.

• You need to be careful when choosing the length of the skirt. Girls with slim legs will suit a short style. For overweight women, you should choose the length of midi or maxi, while you need to choose shoes only with high heels.
