About company
Cersanit is currently the only trademark in Poland that specializes in the production of a full range of products for equipping bathrooms. The brand works under the slogan "Great ideas for your bathroom." Under this brand, tiles, sanitary ware, cabins, shower furniture, as well as acrylic bathtubs are produced.
Cersanit is a recognized leader in the plumbing market. A wide range of products is recognized far beyond the borders of Poland; products are in demand in many European countries and in the former CIS.
In 2010, the manufacturing company acquired a ceramic factory in Syzran, and after another 4 years, the brand became one of the best-selling in our country.
Features
Cersanit is a well-known Polish manufacturer of quality acrylic bathtubs. All products of this brand are made of cast acrylic sheet. Products are equipped with a wide variety of legs, thanks to the variety of their models, equipment can be installed not only near the wall, but also in any other place. Most of the proposed baths offer an antibacterial coating with silver ions - this composition creates effective protection against 90% of pathogenic microorganisms, while maintaining their antimicrobial and antifungal properties for a long time.
Plumbing Cersanit received the recommendations of the Polish Society of Allergists and a hygiene certificate. All equipment is covered by a 7-year warranty.
Advantages and disadvantages
Cersanit acrylic bathtubs have an optimal price - quality ratio, but the list of product advantages does not end there. The advantages of the Polish brand sanitary ware include:
- increased resistance to mechanical stress;
- the ability to retain heat for a long time, which makes the reception of water procedures more comfortable;
- ease of cleaning and maintenance - you can use any cleaning products other than abrasive to clean the surface;
- reinforced bottom makes the bowl more stable;
- the presence of additional devices - headrest, armrests, as well as shelves for shampoo, gel and other detergents;
- light weight - lightweight design does not give large loads on the supports, so it can be installed independently;
- the possibility of restoration of the coating - if cracks or chips appear on the surface of the bath, you can return the original gloss to the product with liquid acrylic;
- a wide range - in the lineup you can find both budget products and luxury options.
However, acrylic baths are not without some drawbacks.
For the production of baths Cersanit is used acrylic sheet with a thickness of not more than 4 mm, which makes it impossible to install an additional hydromassage system. However, this applies solely to models with an antibacterial coating, for all others, more dense sheets are used.
The material has the property of absorbing coloring pigments - if iodine, zelenka, fukortsin, hair dye or other colored liquids accidentally get into the bath, it will be almost impossible to get rid of the stain.
Shapes and sizes
The Cersanit product range offers bowls in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.
Rectangular - These are the most popular models; they can have clear or rounded lines. The bottom is performed in an arcuate or anatomical version.
Asymmetric - The best option for small rooms with walls of different lengths. Such products can significantly save space in the bathroom, while the bowl remains quite roomy and comfortable for swimming.
As for the sizes, in the model range of Cersanit bathtubs there are products with dimensions of 180x80 cm and a depth of 45 cm or 170x70 cm with a depth of 42-44 cm. For owners of small bathrooms, the manufacturer offers models with sizes of 150x70 cm, 140x90 cm and even 120x70 cm.

In addition, the products are characterized by durability, they do not peel off from moisture and do not darken over time, and in addition, they allow you to take hygiene procedures with great comfort.
How to choose?
Keep in mind, popular companies often face the problem of fakes, so you need to buy a bath only in reliable, trusted trading enterprises.
Do not forget to ask the seller for a hygiene certificate and a certificate of compliance, as well as conduct an organoleptic audit of the proposed product.
First of all, pay attention to the fact that good baths do not let in light. If this happens - there is a fake in front of you, the bowls of such a product are short-lived.
Do a little check - tap the walls of the bowl. If the bath is manufactured in compliance with all technological requirements, you will hear a dull sound.
No sharp chemical “aromas” should come from the bath.
The surfaces of the bowls, both internal and external, must be monolithic. Cracks, chips, dents and bubbles are not allowed, with the exception of the massage bulges provided by the manufacturer.
The heterogeneous color of the acrylic bath also indicates a low quality product, it is unlikely that such a model will last you long.
