The impression of the presented presentation depends not only on the gift itself, but also on how it is presented. For example, you cannot give a ring without a special box, as such a surprise will not achieve the desired effect. The same goes for other gifts. To surprise the birthday boy, you can pack the selected gift in the form of candy. First of all, it will be a real surprise for the hero of the occasion, because the intrigue increases in the process of unpacking the presentation, and it’s not difficult to make such packaging with your own hands.
Paper selection
You can make packing in the form of candy for a gift from various materials.
- Glossy sheet paper. It can be multi-colored or monophonic. It has a low density, due to which it is very easy to work with it when making small presentations.
- Craft High-quality wear-resistant material, offered for packaging large gifts. Rough, has a ribbed structure. Well suited for decorating presentations in retro styles and Provence.
It is desirable to additionally decorate the coating for greater aesthetics.
- Hush Papyrus whatman with a thin light structure. Gifts decorated in the form of sweets made of this material look very elegant and solid. Suitable for packaging presents of complex shapes.
- Polysilk. A plastic film coated with a metallic shade. Only available in one color version. Suitable for packing rectangular gifts and toys, which are made out like chocolate candy that unfolds only on one side - from above.
- Corrugated paper. From a material with large embossing, a very interesting and beautiful form for a gift is obtained.
If you complement the packaging with polysilicon ribbons, you get an even more spectacular look.
- Mulberry. A designer look of crumpled paper. It is offered in different shades, may have an ornament or other decorations. Used for packaging presents of any shape.
How to pack?
To independently make a package in the form of candy for a gift, you will need:
- colored paper;
- double sided tape;
- glue;
- scissors;
- pen or pencil;
- decorative ribbons.
Step-by-step execution includes several actions.
- Cut out a pattern of future candy from colored paper. If the gift is larger than the specified sizes, then make a template with more suitable parameters.
- Fold the blank along the lines and stick on the tape connecting line.
- Connect the edges, that is, wrap the "candy".
- Decorate the packaging with any elements (rhinestones, color inserts, markers).
- Put a surprise inside (side) and tie a tape from both edges.
For a small presentation
There is an even simpler option for packing a gift in the form of a candy; it is more suitable for small presentations. This candy will turn out in the form of "Raffaello". To do this, prepare:
- wrapping paper;
- white paper for decorative stand;
- knife;
- stapler or scotch tape;
- a small round object (suitable, for example, a capsule from shoe covers or from a chocolate egg);
Follow a few steps.
- Cut a circle from the selected material.
- Form a paper container for presentation, use a decorative egg for this.
- Put the gift inside the blank and fasten the ends with a stapler or scotch tape.
- Make a stand out of white paper. You can perform it in corrugated form, it should turn out something like a round fan. Shape a basket-shaped stand.
- Decorate the wrapper and stand, put the wrapped gift on the stand.
Gift wrapping
In the case of a large gift, packing in the form of candy will be problematic. But who said that all sweets are wrapped on both sides? Remember the chocolate candies in the boxes - their packaging has a completely different shape: the candy is laid out in the center of the wrapping paper, the edges are folded together and fastened. So you can pack a big surprise. And no matter what shape it is, let it be a big square box - it will also be possible to give such a present a candy form.
Choose the right paper, it should be a fairly dense material, since it is likely that a large gift has a large weight. Place the present in the middle of the package, carefully lift all the edges and fold them together. Secure with a stapler and decorate with ribbons or a bow.
