In the past, cleaning an apartment or house required a lot of time and effort from the hostess. Now there are a huge number of different assistants in this difficult matter, which make cleaning not so difficult, and sometimes even pleasant. These include, for example, viscose wipes. These soft rags do a great job with various stains.

How to make viscose?

This fabric is formed from wood. The result is a canvas that is used to create clothes, accessories and, of course, napkins for wet and dry cleaning. The technological process is a series of activities:

  • the wood is chopped into chips;
  • chips are boiled in an alkaline solution;
  • the resulting mass is pressed into a plate;
  • bleach;
  • with the help of chemical action, the plates are broken into the fibers from which the fabric or thin non-woven material is made.

To make cleaning as productive as possible, many companies produce sponge viscose wipes. They are much thicker than the traditional material and, accordingly, absorb more moisture, while easily wrung out.

Features

The properties of this material stand out from the rest of the artificial fabrics:

  • the fiber is hygroscopic - it perfectly absorbs the maximum amount of liquid;
  • not electrified - you can not worry about the appearance of a “shooting” charge on the surface, which is especially important for dry cleaning in winter;
  • the material is environmentally friendly, as it is based on wood;
  • does not pose a hazard to the environment upon disposal;
  • does not cause allergies;
  • with the help of such napkins you can wash dishes without detergent;
  • easy to wash in a washing machine;
  • delicate surfaces such as glass, screens and monitors, polished furniture do not scratch;
  • Does not leave fluff during home cleaning.

Thanks to these advantages, it can be said with confidence that viscose wipes are an excellent tool for cleaning, as they are versatile and can get rid of any dirt. It is also worth noting the fact that viscose wipes are inexpensive. Of course, the price depends on the manufacturer, but in any supermarket you can find budget options that are cheaper than analogues. Viscose products are easy to wash and reuse, but initially it was assumed that they would be disposable. That is, after cleaning contaminated surfaces, such as kitchens, they can be thrown away. This approach is very convenient in everyday life and leaves no room for mold and microbes to form.

As for the disadvantages, the main disadvantage of viscose napkins is the following fact: when wet, they quickly lose their strength and easily break. They differ in this quality, for example, from bamboo napkins and microfiber.

Therefore, the use of such funds for a long time is impossible - you have to throw them away after two uses. Also, on some options there is no pile and other irregularities, which negatively affects the quality of cleaning highly contaminated surfaces.

Kinds

Household viscose napkins are conventionally divided into two types: universal and floor napkins.

  • Universal wipes. They come in a variety of sizes, but are usually presented in a 20x25 cm version. The density of such material depends on the manufacturer and pricing policy, but it is worth noting that very thick wipes are not used in this category. The described option is suitable for cleaning almost any area: kitchen, bathroom, toilet, car and furniture.
  • Napkins for the floor. The size of such a material is increased depending on the purpose - it varies, starting from 50x70 cm. This category is characterized by an increased density, which allows you to wash highly contaminated surfaces.

Currently, about 70% of sponge viscose cloths are produced as universal, and the rest belongs to floor cloths.

Packing

There are two options for filling viscose napkins: individually and in a roll. If a person needs the help of such funds only once, then you can limit yourself to piece napkins. The roll is a set of viscose napkins that are wound on the base and separated by perforation. It is convenient to leave them in the kitchen or in the bathroom on a special pin and tear off as necessary. Wipes will always be at hand - they can be used both for cleaning and for such sudden incidents as spilled water or bleach.

How to choose?

In fact, all products in this category are practically no different from each other. When choosing, it is worthwhile to focus on the availability of napkins in the nearest stores, as well as their size and your budget.   • they should be washed either manually using laundry soap, or in a washing machine with a delicate washing mode;
  • do not leave used wipes wet and crumpled, as pathogenic microflora can form in them;
  • they can be dried as you like, but you must remember that more than 2-3 times, disposable wipes are unlikely to last.
