• Oxfords are shoes with closed lacing (laces close under the front of the shoe). Another name for oxford is balmoral. Shoes got this name in honor of the Scottish fortress Balmoral. Over time, the Oxfords changed their appearance and differ from the old model with a line along the welt of the shoe;

• brogues are shoes with small holes in the front. The holes ventilate the shoes well and prevent the foot from sweating. Previously, brogues were used by farmers, and now are widely used by golf lovers;

• Derby shoes are open-laced shoes in which the sides are sewn over the front. Derby is a versatile shoe for any event. If oxfords can be called official shoes, then derby are casual shoes;

• desserts - the name of this shoe literally translates as “desert”. This is not surprising, because these shoes were worn by British troops during service in Africa. This shoe has a lightweight comfortable pad and high up. The main advantages of this model are a strong sole and soft suede, which help to less load the leg when walking;

• loafers are large suede shoes with sturdy thick heels with fringe in front and / or around the edges. They look rude on the foot, but are especially popular among the fair sex;

• monks are a pair of shoes without lacing. Instead, there are buckles on the shoes, on which the shoes are fixed;

• chelsea are cropped boots (ending in the ankle area) with a slightly pointed toe and with elastic inserts on the sides. This is very convenient, because chelsea can be shoeed and removed without spending time on rivets, laces and locks.
