The holiday, shrouded in an atmosphere of love and tenderness, Valentine's Day, is especially remembered for gifts. As a rule, they are created with their own hands. Scrapbooking valentines are miniature masterpieces that everyone can do without exception. The main thing is to be patient and show your imagination.

Scrapbooking can be described as a type of needlework, which consists in creating decorated albums, notebooks and postcards.

Usually, a hobby begins with simple things. For example, with the design of a small postcard.

Creating a valentine in scrapbooking style implies the presence of certain components.

• Paper. It is the basis of technology and varies in structure. For example, cardboard is taken as a basis, and various figures are cut out of decorative. The paper should be of different colors with volume embossing.
• Flowers. They can be "live" or in dried form, as well as made of fabric.
• Textile. A variety of ribbons, lace and rope. Antiques from the “grandmother's” chest (velvet ribbons or brocade braid) are ideal.
• Buttons and beads. These elements must be present in large numbers, since without them a full-fledged design will not work.
• Decals. A very important element of scrapbooking, with the help of which you will get a colorful valentine with the image of hearts and a curly cupid.

• Acrylic stamps. For these cards, “With Love” or “Dear Man” are perfect.

In order to create a beautiful valentine using scrapbooking technique, pay attention to the presented step-by-step instructions. You will need:

1. cardboard and corrugated paper;
2. lace (white or pink);
3. tulle (mesh fabric);
4. transparent moment glue;
5. a set of beads;
6. braid;
7. glitter (multi-colored particles of paper, glass or plastic);
8. curly scissors.

From ordinary paper, cut out a heart as a sample. We create the basis of the card, folding the cardboard in half. We attach the sample to the cardboard, circle the outline with a pencil and cut out a two-page valentine.

We take corrugated paper, cut out the heart according to the sample and glue it on our valentine. Take a lace strip and cut it into 2 parts. Glue them “obliquely” to the outside of the valentine. Glue the beads on the braid and fasten them along the edges of the Valentine's card (parallel to the lace).

From tulle we cut a miniature lace and glue it in the right corner of the postcard. We attach a decorative rose to it. In the center of the valentine we place an image of a cupid with an arrow. We fill the "voids" with glitter.

On the inside of the card (by analogy with the outside), glue a heart made of corrugated paper.

Using the gel pen, we decorate the second part of the valentine with a spiritual declaration of love or wish.

To do this, take paper with the effect of antiquity, cut out a heart and give it a careless look. They decorate the card with vintage images, and on the back they leave a gentle message in love. Single-layered valentines in scrapbooking style look simple and sincere.

Another option involves the creation of "love" cards from several sheets. Booklet layered valentines look simply luxurious. To create it, you will need several types of cardboard, a hole punch and bright ribbons. And also in it you can stick photos that capture the wonderful moments of spending time together with your beloved.

A multilayer valentine can be made in the form of an accordion. Make it easy, the main thing is to “turn on” the fantasy. You will need thick paper, which must be folded in the shape of an “accordion”. Next, we decorate each "section" with beads or decorative pebbles, not forgetting the warm declaration of love to a loved one. Scrapbooking layered hearts look stunning.

There is another option for such “Valentines”. They can be described as volumetric or 3D. For example, the paper “tunnel” looks incredibly beautiful. Its manufacture involves hours of painstaking work. But the result is worth it!

An excellent valentine card is obtained using the scrapbooking technique with a colorful “filling”.It is made by analogy with a standard postcard, but once it is “opened”, beautiful hearts from cardboard immediately appear.
