Eyelash extensions is a cosmetic procedure that has been very popular for years. There are several of its directions and species, one of which has recently appeared is the 8D effect. We will talk about what such a procedure is, what subtleties it has, and what result can be achieved with its help, in this article.

Advantages and disadvantages

8D eyelash effect is a kind of novelty. This technology has some nuances in its implementation, and only experienced and qualified craftsmen can cope with it correctly.

The main advantages of this build-up are quite a lot.

  • During the procedure itself artificial cilia are usedmade from virtually weightless threads. This allows you to save the result for a long time - up to 3.5 months.
  • For temporary, or rather, short-term build-up such a procedure is also great.
  • 8D eyelashes are a great make-up solution for any special occasion.
  • It is also possible to apply any other cosmetics to the eyes after the procedure. But this is not necessary - the eyelashes themselves act as the main eye makeup.
  • After such a procedure it is allowed to use creams and lotions for skin care of the eyelids after a day.
  • At times, the volume of the eyelashes themselves increases, and the look becomes more expressive.
  • If by nature the girl has very rare cilia, or they have different lengths, such an extension will easily mask this flaw.

However, despite such a wide list of advantages, 8D eyelash extension has its very significant drawbacks.

  • Long-term procedure. Standard build-up on this technology takes about 3-4 hours.
  • Significant weighting of the century. When performing the procedure, 8 artificial hairs are immediately attached to one of their cilia. As a result, the eyelid itself weighs 8 times heavier than usual. Many girls get used to this for a long time, and their gaze as a result is almost half-empty.
  • After removing the eyelash extensions, their hairs look really pathetic - they are thin, brittle, and may begin to fall out. The full restoration of natural eyelashes will take at least a month, subject to regular use of care products.

There is another significant minus - the eyelashes themselves and the general look look too unnatural, which immediately catches the eye, and sometimes it looks very repulsive.

Therefore, it is important to choose a really experienced master who can not only correctly complete the entire procedure, but also help you choose the appropriate type of its execution.

Types and forms

The shape of eyelash extensions using 8D technology should be understood as the shape of the bending of the hairs themselves. It may be as follows:

  • B - completely natural bend;
  • C - in this case, the tips of the cilia are slightly raised up, which allows you to slightly open your eyes, making them more expressive;
  • CC - reinforced bending, which is more pronounced than in the previous version;
  • D - the effect of doll eyelashes, used for beam extension;
  • L - the strongest version of the bend, in which the cilia in the outer corners of the eyes are twisted more strongly from the base.

Types of extensions - this is an option for placing cilia along the entire length of the eyelid.

It is the view that determines how the eyes will look after the procedure, and helps to adjust their shape if necessary.

There are several types of extensions using 8D technology.

  • Fox look - one of the most popular techniques. It involves the extension of the longest cilia along the outer side of the eyelid, and shorter ones along the inside. Moreover, such a transition along the length is very smooth, which allows you to create a beautiful and alluring look with a trick.
  • Squirrel effect very similar to the previous version. However, the difference between the hairs on the outer and inner sides of the eyelid is more obvious - there is no smooth transition in length.
  • Uniform build-up implies the use of only artificial cilia of the same length. If the work is performed by an experienced master, then the result looks very natural.
  • Using hairs of different lengths - multi-extension building - allows you to create the effect of fluffy eyes in a very velvet frame. It’s beautiful, but it’s immediately obvious that it’s not natural.
  • When puppet building hairs of the same height are also used, but only the longest ones are chosen. The look in this case after completion of work looks especially expressive.

It is better not to choose the shape and type of extension using 8D technology independently, but together with the master. This will make it possible to choose the best option that will not only suit the client, but also look as beautiful and natural as possible.

How is the build-up?

Before starting work, the master must prepare all the necessary tools and materials, wash hands thoroughly and wear sterile disposable gloves.

The client's face is completely cleansed of the remnants of cream and cosmetics. Even if there is no makeup on the face, it is still necessary to wipe the skin with a special tonic. Especially in the eye area.

Having taken out a special patch, the master puts it on the client’s eyelid, pressing it as tightly as possible to the cilia growth site. Then he makes marks on it, which in the future will indicate the place of attachment of the bundles of eyelash extensions.

Prepared hairs are taken out with tweezers and dipped in the glue with the lower edge, and then pressed to the growth site of the native cilia: 1 bunch - per 1 hairline.

The glue residue must be removed immediately with a special cloth. After completing the work, the eyelids are cleaned of glue residues, the cilia are combed with a brush, correcting their shape.

How long do they hold?

Extension masters say that the maximum duration of wearing such cilia using 8D technology is just over 3 months. However, they themselves do not advise wearing them for more than a month and a half. Too much strain on the eyelid.

Moreover, it is considered absolutely normal if, after 3 weeks after the procedure, the cilia begin to fall out themselves.

Care

To care for 8D eyelash extensions is necessary in the same way as for any others:

  • do not wet them during the first 3 hours after the procedure;
  • do not visit saunas and pools during the first days;
  • abstain from sleeping on the stomach;
  • do not use greasy eye creams;
  • after any contact with water, gently comb the cilia with a special brush.

8D cilia are bright and catchy, but this extension option is better suited for special occasions rather than everyday wear.
