Natural sources from ancient times are considered healing, in ancient times they were used as a medicine and the prevention of many diseases. In modern society, their healing properties have been scientifically proven. Next to them are sanatoriums and health centers.

Crimea is very popular: the magnificent nature and the great length of the beaches attract travelers and tourists. Despite the large number of natural thermal waters located on the territory of the peninsula, they are not very popular so far. Many of them are located outside resort areas, so only locals know about the location of healing waters.

The healing springs of Crimea were discovered back in Soviet times, but only now they are gaining popularity among the local population and tourists.

• One such forgotten source is near the village of Nizinne. Near this village there is an interesting structure from shells, where the source is located, the temperature of which reaches almost 60 degrees Celsius. His inspection showed a greater amount of minerals and nutrients than in the most popular in the Crimea Sahak source. Despite the fact that the source does not meet the standards of table water, local people drink this water without filtering, touting its healing power. It is advised to use it for tonsillitis, pulmonary diseases or problems with the intestines.

Of the minuses, a sharp smell of hydrogen sulfide and a corresponding taste near the water are often noted.

• Hot spring in Ilyinka was discovered through drilling in search of warm energy in the 80s of the last century. The source is located at a depth of 1100 meters, furnished with limestone (a material often used in the Crimea almost on a par with shells). The soil around the source has the color of rust, which is the result of fumes. The water temperature is hot - 60 degrees, but there is no hydrogen sulfide in the water, but there is sodium chloride. The source is full of various metals and gases, it is considered useful in the treatment of osteochondrosis and rheumatism.

• Spring in Shchebetov. This place with a warm geothermal spring is called “Water Beam”, and the water temperature here reaches 22 degrees, you can go there by your own transport, but because of bumps in the road, it is advisable to give preference to SUVs or to walk. The path leading to the healing water filled with calcium is a climb along the beautiful steps covered with moss and a thin layer of water from a never-ending spring.

• Village New Life located near Dzhankoy, few people know about the hot spring, the temperature reaches 45 degrees, the water is filled with healthy salts and iodine. For convenience, the source is equipped with a pool with a pipe. Visiting this place is free, the plus is the lack of tourists, and the poor infrastructure is a minus. But the pool in this village can be used by tourists who do not even know how to swim, due to the high concentration of salts it is impossible to drown in this water.

• On the Arbat arrow. This is the hottest thermal pool in the Crimea. The temperature in the source, where you can swim, can reach 80 degrees Celsius. It is very useful for problems with vessels and nerves, full of alkalis, sodium, radon. Bathing children under 6 years old, as well as being in the thermal pool for more than 15 minutes is not recommended. People with heart diseases should be careful. Most surprisingly, most of the visitors are in the summer season, but there are practically no people who want to bask in hot water in the fall and winter.

Mineral is called water, which has biologically active properties, salts in dissolved form, various trace elements. Most often, such water is used for drinking purposes, but external use is also popular. Here are some of the mineral springs of Crimea.

• Pyatihatka. The water in the spring has unique beneficial properties that scientists compare with sources of well-known resorts. It is used as a diuretic and choleretic drug, it removes heavy salts, metals and radionuclides. Near the source is a large plant producing mineral water, tourists on the spot can buy bottles of mineral water called “Bishuli”.

• Mineral spring in Saki They call it Saki pump-room, access to it is open, anyone can drink water, next to the spring and near the pond there are statues created in 1932.

• Near the lake Sivash. Driving in this area, you can stumble upon several abandoned artesian sources, due to lack of demand they form small swamps next to them. Scientists have not established the usefulness of water, it is known that it is filled with silicic acid, salts and minerals.

• The village of Aivazovskoye. The source is described as a spring containing sodium, bicarbonate, chloride, magnesium and calcium. Water is used for agricultural and domestic purposes by local residents. Around the sources, of which there are a lot in this area, there are legends and traditions associated with their healing qualities. Unfortunately, most of them are now abandoned and forgotten.

• Theodosius. The city is developed by its infrastructure and is known for its resorts. He owes such a high rating to mineral springs, which are similar in utility to the Essentuki. Found them in search of water for irrigation of vineyards, at a depth of 60 meters, after analysis they were awarded the properties of mineral waters. Brackish-tasting water helps with diseases of blood vessels and the heart.Also in Feodosia you can find other mineral springs - hydrogen sulfide, in which methane was also found.

In the old days, beer was made from water, which was distinguished by a special pleasant taste and had no smell.

• Kokkoz valley. A source called Aji-Su or Black Waters is a very popular place. The liquid comes out of 3 holes, 2 of which emit bitter water, and the third is fresh. Water in these sources contains bromine with a certain content of iodine, iron, scurvy and manganese. They opened the point in 1955, after a certain amount of time, a health resort with bathing places was built near the source. Currently, a large sanatorium uses water, it is useful in the treatment of osteochondrosis, skin diseases and muscle pain.

• Yalta. Sources in Yalta 2, opened in 2004 and 2007. They are located in parks, anyone can pour water for themselves or just take a walk in a cozy park and sit in the shade of trees.

• Alushta. Not far from the famous resort town is an Orthodox monastery, where there is a healing spring. This is the territory of the reserve, and the monastery itself is located at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level. The source is called Savlukh-Su. According to legend, the saints cured people with the help of water, speaking it with prayers. Later, scientists found out the composition of the spring, and it turned out to be rich in silver and zinc ions.

In Crimea, most of the sources are located in the territories of monasteries and are considered holy. Therefore, most of them can be visited for free and drink healing water.

Most of the holy springs are located near the village of Generalskoe, there are 5 sources in the area that are worth visiting:

• Ai-Nastasi;
• Ai-Andrit.

The most popular holy place is Ilmensky Monastery. Temples are located on its territory, and healing springs are located right in the caves, which cannot but impress. Another popular tourist destination of Orthodoxy is the monastery in Bakhchisarai, in the past, instead of a source, there was water supply, water flowed into the monastery and was used for various purposes, now it fills the ponds and fountains in the monastery.

Near the city of Sudak is the holy spring Ai-Anastasia. It is located in the resort village of Novyi Svit, this is a favorite place for tourists due to the beautiful views and healing properties of water.
