Scythe has become fashionable for a long time and since then has not lost its popularity, since this is a great option to quickly remove hair without any extra hassle. One of the advantages of this hairstyle is that the pigtail is used not only as a daily option, but also for special occasions. The main thing is to choose the right weaving and accessories.
Kinds
All kinds of weaving can be divided into several types.
- An English braid is a traditional hairstyle popular among women in the UK. This is a very simple, three-armed design. After combing the hair, they are divided into three equal segments. For weaving, a simple action is used on the left above the middle and on the right above the middle.
- The French braid is something else. Hair is not immediately divided into three parts, one curl is taken, the rest is added gradually, grabbing one bundle from the head after another and weaving them together according to the same principle that is used to create the English braid.
Hair should not be woven too tightly, on the contrary, this is the attractiveness of weaving, which creates an amazing volume.
- Dutch braid It has an inverted form, but, in essence, it is the same as the French version. It is done by crossing not over, but under each curl.
- During manufacture swiss braids, hair is divided into two halves in the center, right to the back of the head. The left part is woven into a simple three-strand braid. After fixing the end with an elastic band, it is wrapped around the head from the back to the right ear.On the other hand, they repeat the same thing, only the braid is fixed in front of the forehead. The result is something like a crown.
- Can do rope braidsAlthough the hairstyle looks complicated, in fact it is not. It is advisable to use a spray bottle with water and a scallop during the weaving process. To start, the hair is pulled together in a ponytail. Having fixed with an elastic band, it is divided into two strands. Now each is twisted clockwise to give the appearance of a rope. The right side is wrapped counterclockwise over the left very tightly, then the left - over the right.
- A large number of strands are used in multicore braids. In such a hairstyle, their number ranges from five to nine. This is a rather complicated option, so it requires a lot of patience.
Basic Rules
Many women, especially those who have daughters, would like to master the art of weaving braids. Experts identify the following requirements that should be taken into account if you want the hairstyle to be perfect:
- hair should be combed well;
- good weaving is obtained when the strands are the same length;
It’s not enough to separate each strand evenly, it will need to be pulled back to prevent the appearance of knocking out curls.
- all curls are pulled with the same force, otherwise one part of the hairstyle will be tightly tightened, the other weakly;
- Before you start creating hairstyles, you must prepare gum, hair clips, combs, spray with water.
How to choose a braid for a little girl?
A simple English pigtail is most often used by women in young children. Her weaving takes the least time. It is good enough to divide the hair into three curls to braid the hair. But sometimes in this embodiment, with too much activity, the hairstyle quickly unravels, becomes sloppy. You can easily get out of the situation - you must first collect all the hair in a high tail, and then only weave a braid.
If the hair is the same length, then you can give them volume, for this, after the pigtail is finished, each strand will need to be slightly removed from the weave.
French braiding also looks good on curls of medium length, since it allows you to better fix curls that are too short on top, so they do not even fold into the tail. In this case, starting to weave is from the forehead line, highlighting the first three strands as the first, and then gradually adding curls to them on each side. The principle of weaving is the same as that of the English braid.
Even at medium hair length, the fishtail braid looks good, although it takes more time from mom, it’s worth a try, since such weaving holds well and withstands the child’s hyperactivity. It is worth sticking to the following algorithm of actions:
- first you need to comb the hair back, divide into two parts;
- each half is taken in the hand, but a thin strand is assigned to the index finger; approximately its thickness should be up to 2.5 cm;
- start weaving on the left, the strand is transferred to the right hand;
- the same is repeated on the reverse side, that is, a thin strand on the right is transferred to the left side and lies in the hand to all hair;
- thus, it is necessary to move to the end of the hair length, then the braid is fixed with an elastic band, in the center you can decorate with hairpins.
For girls who have the same hair length, but they don’t like all curls to be put in a braid, you can offer a very interesting option, adhering to the following steps:
- curls comb well;
- three strands are taken: one in the center of the forehead line, the second and third above the ears;
- they are intertwined in the center, each subsequently becomes part of the center curl, and the side ones continue to grab from the sides;
- the result is like loose hair enclosed in an original mesh, which can additionally be decorated with accessories.
If the girl’s lower curls are longer than the upper ones, then weaving can be done to weave the French braid in the opposite direction, that is, from bottom to top. To create such a braid, you should do the following:
- it will be necessary to divide the head into three parts, as in the case of weaving an English braid; in the process, it is desirable that the child leans forward, so it will be more convenient.
- the curl on the right is first placed under the central part, then on the left and so on to the very top, adding hair to the weave each time;
- from above you can wind a muzzle, make a tail.
Other possible hairstyles
There are many simpler and more complex options for decorating your head with a scythe. All of them are easily assimilated independently at home, and on the Internet there are numerous schemes that allow you to better understand the technology of this or that weaving.
You can braid at home an original French braid for school. The step-by-step process is as follows:
- first, a large curl is taken along the line of the entire forehead and is divided into three parts; the curls are intertwined according to the principle that is used in the English pigtail, only they must be crossed very freely, without tension, you can even comb a little;
- the next time the curls are added left and right, thereby adding to the common braid, but also without any tension, the weaving should be voluminous;
- the area from the temples is completely captured, without separation into strands; the curls are also woven, but they will be the last, because it remains just to braid the braid to the end, leaving the lower hair free;
- if there is not enough volume, you can slightly pull the strands from weaving.
“Waterfall” hairstyle looks very nice on medium length. From the outside it may seem that it is difficult to do such weaving on your own, in fact the process takes only a few minutes. It is worth sticking to the following algorithm of actions:
- hair comb well;
- make a side part;
- start weaving from the forehead, moving horizontally towards the temples;
- after a few centimeters, the upper curl is laid on the middle strand, and the lower is released down;
- behind it, another curl is grasped from below, and also we wound up behind the middle lock;
- the process is repeated throughout the head, as a result, you get the feeling of a waterfall flowing through your hair; Such a hairstyle looks very original.
There are other ways how you can make a hairstyle in kindergarten for medium hair, without spending a lot of time. The hardest thing is to create braids from four or five strands, since a lot of patience is required.
So, it is worth following these steps:
- at the first stage, the hair is combed well, combed back so that there is no parting in the middle;
- the first right strand will need to be crossed with the closest to it;
- the central strand is first crossed with the right curl, then left of it, but not with the strand that is on the first left, since it is crossed with the neighboring on the right;
- according to this scheme, the entire braid is woven, while it is not necessary to tighten too much.
