But drywall has its own characteristics, which should be taken into account during its subsequent operation.

GKL is a cheap and affordable material that every buyer can afford. It is easy to work with him even for a beginner. In drywall, holes are easily made, for example, under cable channels, light lamps or an exhaust hood.
These beneficial properties attract consumers. But many buyers forget that there are two types of drywall. It happens:

- water resistant.
Many people buy simple gypsum bath in the bathroom. This is the first mistake that most make during the repair. After some time, GCR will become unusable due to high humidity.
Moisture-resistant drywall makes a special impregnation.The composition of such material includes a special antifungal, as well as a hydrophobic mixture. It is GKLV that should be used in the casing of wet rooms and wet areas.

Advantages and disadvantages
Like any other material, drywall has both positive and negative sides. In order to avoid unforeseen situations, it is important to consider all the properties of GKLV.

- The environmental component. Drywall is created from natural components (gypsum, cardboard, starch), which are harmless to humans. The material is non-toxic and hypoallergenic.

- Cost. As mentioned earlier, drywall is a very inexpensive material. But the price does not affect its quality. The cost of GCR is due to the low cost and availability of materials included in its composition.

In addition to the drywall itself, you often have to buy a lot of additional components to it. This significantly affects the cost of the false ceiling in the bathroom. For example, you should additionally purchase a metal frame, putty (better moisture resistant), paint (in the bathroom you should use paint with the presence of silicone in the composition).
From this it can be argued that individually the GKLV sheet is really cheaper than other materials. But at the finish it turns out about the same amount that a person would spend on a PVC ceiling.
If you do not provide a hood in the ceiling or wall, the room will not be ventilated. With a high probability, the drywall ceiling will begin to deteriorate or delaminate. The bathroom will dry out for a long time, since moisture remaining on the surface of the ceiling or absorbed by it will not evaporate.
Vapors will be absorbed by GCR and destroy it, even if it has a moisture barrier. This is called the accumulation effect.
