Trips to the sea, family vacations in the country, evening walks in the park and cocktail parties require new things in the summer wardrobe. But if your budget does not plan expenses for a radical change of wardrobe or expensive outfits, we offer you to sew simple, but beautiful summer models for different occasions.
Simple knit
If you have not yet acquired a summer dress for every day, then it's time to sew here such a simple model with an original print that does not require a sophisticated pattern and even tucks.
Choose knitted fabric thin and elastic, with a high content of cotton. Thus, the dress will allow air to pass through well, and thanks to the addition of artificial threads, it will stretch, but not wrinkle. This model is also suitable for a cool time, only choose a dense fabric.
Before cutting, iron the cut with a hot iron. Instead of a pattern, take a well-fitting T-shirt with sleeves.
- Fold the jersey in half along the shared thread, attach a T-shirt and circle it with soap or chalk.
- Extend the dress skirt to the desired height. Adjust your hips. If they are magnificent, then make the necessary increase.
- Cut out the front and back, not forgetting the allowances for the seams, somewhere 1-1.5 cm.
- The neckline of the front can be made deeper or smaller and of the desired shape.
- When applying a T-shirt, cut out the sleeves.
- Then cut and stitch the neckline. To do this, attach the front and back bodice, and circle the neck. Make 5 cm wide.
- Sew shoulder seams with a zigzag stitch. So you immediately process the slices.
- Stitch the sleeves by aligning the cut of the shoulder and the middle of the sleeve, and then securing with pins.
- Stitch side seams by aligning with the seams on the sleeve.
- Fold the bottom of the dress.
Light shirt dress
A straight shirt dress will look good on any figure. Side cuts will add piquancy, a belt will emphasize the waist, and a crease on the back will add comfort when moving.
Cut
This pattern can serve as a pattern for a blouse, and for a tunic. It all depends on the length you choose. Therefore, below are 2 options for the layout of parts on fabric.
From viscose, open 2 shelves, a back and a yoke, consisting of two parts. Also remove the sleeves and 2 cuffs with a width of 7 cm and a length of 30-32 cm, depending on your size.
To fasten, you will need a strap for loops 9 cm wide and the desired length, as well as 2 parts for the belt 93-100 cm long and 10 cm wide.
Sewing
- Bend the bottom of the front and back, turning the edge 3 cm and stitching.
- Turn off the whole-cut picks along the fold lines and iron them. Stitch the left edge.
- Fold the loop bar in half along the front side inwards and grind the bottom cut. Turn it out and mark 8 loops in the middle. The first should be at a distance of 1.5 cm from the upper cut, and the bottom at a distance of 30 cm from the end of the bar. Mark the rest at the same distance. Stitch the stitches and stitch the bar.
Stitching collar and cuffs
- Lay a bow fold on the back.
- Stitch the coquette elements together, and then stitch the part to the back. In this case, the allowance for the cut of the neck should protrude beyond the edges of the neck of the shelves.
- Stitch outer sections of collar elements along the seamy side. Turn out the collar and grind it with the stand, folding it with the front sides. Turn out a rack and sew in a mouth.
- On the sleeves, lay the folds and stitch them in the armholes.
- Stitch side seams on the bodice and seams on the sleeves with a single line.
- Sew short cuts on the cuffs. And stitch them to the sleeves.
- Sew a belt.
Evening without a pattern
Many followed the fate of the heroines from the series "Sex and the City", empathized with them and admired their colorful outfits. One of these dresses can be sewn without using patterns in one evening.
An evening long dress in the Greek style captivates with a simple and piquant cut on the back. To sew it, you will need viscose and several measurements.
- Fold 1.5 meters of viscose and also 1.5 meters wide in half so that the shared thread is vertical.
- Define your waistline.
- Sew the bottom side seam to the waist.
- Draw a slanting line on the bodice, having previously taken measurements of the armhole. If you have small breasts or want the dress to be more romantic, bend the fabric on the bodice in the form of a ruffle.
- Lay the top stitch, making a drawstring for the string.
- Fold the ruffle and hem, and then draw the laces with a pin.
- Sew the rucksack to the side from the inside. To prevent it from puffing in the front, hem the hem and sew.
- Edges of fabric can be processed on an overlock or a line a zigzag.
- Pick up a belt for the dress or sew from contrasting material.

For full

Reshape the details of the pattern and enlarge to the desired size.
Separately, cut 2 rectangles for a skirt 80-89 cm wide, depending on the waist volume and 75 cm long, including allowances. Also cut 2 crease strips on the bodice 21 cm wide and a length equal to the length of the bodice. The set-in belts in the front and back are composed of three parts.
For the belt, cut out 2 parts, 2 m long and 17 cm wide, including allowances.

- Iron the folds inside out and stitch. Fold the fold of the last fold. Make the second strip with folds symmetrically the first.
- Stitch the details to the corresponding front shelves.
- Grind the recesses on the bodice details.
- Gather the upper sections of the bodice by stitching large stitches.
- Sew shoulder sections.
- Stitch the collar details in short sections and in the upper, folding them facing each other. Turn the collar and stitch it in the neck. Make a buttonhole and sew a button.
- On the front bodice, complete the right side seam.
- Stitch three parts of the front belt in front. Do the same with the details of the backrest belt. Stitch both belts along the right side cut.

- Stitch the zipper into the left side seam.
