1. Heat water, add sugar, honey and butter. The mixture should not boil.
2. Heat to 60-70 degrees, add spices and 1.5 cups of flour, stirring so that there are no lumps. If clots form, wipe the mixture through a sieve.
3. Cool the resulting mass, pour in the eggs, mix.
4. Pour the remaining flour and knead gradually, you should get a homogeneous dough.
5. Wrap in a film, put in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
6. Take out, roll out on baking paper about 6 mm thick, if the dough is thinner, it will crumble after baking.
7. According to a pre-cut template, cut out parts of the house, cut with a knife.
8. Remove the scraps, transfer the paper along with the parts to the baking sheet. From scraps you can bake figures of men or Christmas trees.
9. Bake at a temperature of 180-190 degrees for about 15-20 minutes. Do not let the cakes dry out in the oven.
10. Cakes should be cooled and then only begin to build a house.

To decorate the facade, you need glaze. Its ingredients for cooking:

• protein of 1 egg;
• icing sugar - 150 g;
• lemon juice - 1 teaspoon.

The ratio for one small portion is indicated.

The composition is whipped in small parts, it quickly dries and hardens:

• beat the protein with icing sugar until a thick mass is obtained;
• add a little bit of lemon juice, if you pour lemon juice, the mass will become very liquid.

4. Connect the walls and the roof. The icing is applied using a pastry bag or, if not, a regular plastic bag. The mixture should be placed in it, tied on top. Cut off the corner, squeeze it through the hole at the joints and carefully connect them. The walls are supported by supports until the composition dries.
5. Lastly, the roof is glued: carefully apply the mixture to the upper edges of the walls and put one half (smeared over the ridge), then the second. It is possible to issue also fir-trees. Gingerbread surprise is ready!
