If the grandfather’s birthday is coming, I want to make it happy with gifts not on hand like men's cosmetics, sweaters and a set of tools — I want to give my grandfather a touching experience. Grandchildren can organize all this (under the strict guidance of adults, of course). If, besides a signed card, no ideas visit you, do not worry - there are many options!

Ideas for the smallest

If the granddaughter or granddaughter is so small that they don’t even go to the garden (or just go), they won’t even cope with the classic signing of the card. But this does not mean that creative crafts are canceled. Even Godasik can arrange a grandfather's birthday gift with his own hands.

Here are some gifts for kids.

  • Cheerful palms. Indeed, from the contour of the outlined palms of the baby you can do a lot of things - cute cockerels, fluffy flowers, mischievous butterflies and cute octopuses. The parent needs to seat the fidget, circle his pen - half the job is done. And then choose for yourself: you can shade or paint over the future butterfly or octopus, and then, together with the baby, put patterns on the hero with a cotton swab. You can make an application - make a lot of small colored circles (confetti) with the hole punch, and they will become elements for the patterns.
  • Finger paintings. The child really likes to dunk his fingers in the paint. Look at the samples: funny caterpillars, fluffy seals, beautiful flowers can be made with a fingerprint. And to paint pens, legs and eyes can an adult.

Children also really like nitography.

If parents with fine art abilities are fine, then they will take over part of the work. And the kid will get the main thing.

The "picture for a million" in the technique of nitkography is quite simple.

  1. You need to take a thread, smear it in paint - more precisely, paint, for example, in orange.
  2. The other thread is green with the addition of blue and so on. All this can be done together with the child, who usually likes such art.
  3. Then comes the most interesting: bend a sheet of watercolor paper in half, bizarrely between the two halves, lay out two strings figuratively.
  4. Squeeze the sheets. Drum roll - now between tightly compressed sheets you need to pull the ends of the threads (pull them out of paper).
  5. The imprint of such a gesture is the future picture. She, of course, is from the category of abstraction, but the same smart parent can find an image in abstraction, and where to paint it (eyes, paws of a butterfly, the contours of tree trunks in the autumn forest, and so on).

An unusual, not at all primitive picture is sent in a frame under glass and solemnly awarded at the celebration of the birthday. There is an assumption that contemporary art will become a family value. Creative grandfather will be fascinated!

What can granddaughter do?

Usually, grandfather melts from any squiggle written by her granddaughter, and from the simplest postcard addressed to him. But do not go the easy way - grandfather needs to be surprised. For example, a mini-bouquet, which is done quickly, but looks very modern.

To make a bouquet you need:

  • sleeve;
  • colored paper of your choice (can be plain, can be of different colors);
  • scissors;
  • glue gun
  • circular hole punch (if not, not scary);
  • kraft paper for wrapping;
  • thin satin small ribbon.

Cut the sleeve in half (we do not need the entire length). Glue one end of it with a circle of colored paper corresponding to the diameter of the sleeve. Then cut the circles with a circular hole punch. If such a tool was not found, simply circle something round (the sleeve itself can be). Then, with a piece of evidence, cut these circles so that they can be twisted into a bud along the cut. You will get several buds that glue with a glue gun to stick to the base of the sleeve.

As a result, you get a half sleeve, on top of which 7-9 rose buds are glued. It remains to wrap the sleeve with kraft paper (for glue), and tie it with a ribbon at the bottom. It turns out a cute little bouquet! Grandfather will be moved.

The bouquet can be attached and greeting card to grandfather. And it can be done in the popular lettering technique. This art is rightly called the dance of letters. Do not confuse lettering with calligraphy: calligraphy is a font of perfect evenness, and in lettering each letter is drawn individually. This is a very interesting activity, and girls who already know how to write (and everyone who is older, of course) can do it.

Options for homemade gifts from a grandson

Little boys (from 3 to 9 years old) may well give grandfather homemade bouquets, sign cards using the lettering technique - these activities are not as attached to the floor as they seem. But there are other options. The gift does not have to be traditional - there are enough alternatives for the card. As well as not necessarily present to grandfather should reflect his interests and occupations peculiar to the grandfather age.

If your son gives a grandfather, for example, a cheerful dancing octopus, it is unlikely that the birthday man will say that the gift is not thematic. Of course, he will appreciate the efforts of his grandson, his creative idea and humor.

Let's take a step-by-step look at how to make a dancing octopus for grandfather.

  1. Take two opaque plastic cups. On one of them, circle your finger around the outline. And so several times (these will be the hero's legs). Cut the legs along the marked contour, not reaching the edges of the cup.
  2. The second cup you just need to cover with paint (gouache). Color - at your discretion, it is desirable that the birthday person likes this color.The first glass with legs also needs to be painted (you can do this in a contrasting color).
  3. When the workpieces have dried, to the one without legs, you need to glue the eyes. You can draw them yourself on paper and cut them out. You can buy eyes in the department of goods for creativity.
  4. The crucial step is to make a spring. To do this, cut out two thick strips of thick paper (but not cardboard), about a centimeter wide. Strips need to be intertwined with a half-braid. You will get weaving, which, if folded with an accordion, will spring well.
  5. Glue the paper spring with a glue gun to the inner bottom of the cups: it should connect their bottoms when the cup-legs are inserted inside the cup-body.
  6. You can continue to decorate the octopus body with patterns, rhinestones, ornament, whatever.
  7. So, having inserted one glass with legs into another, a funny marine inhabitant appears. And if you lightly clap your palm on him, he "crouches." And if you clap often, he dances.

And you can make a whole octopus orchestra, and play them as if they were drums, singing a funny song along the way. It’s great if the gift is good not only as a result, when it is ready and elegant, but also in the process of making it.

Classics of the genre - draw a picture for grandfather. If a child has very modest drawing abilities, but insists on this particular gift, you can resort to tricks. Buy him a creative set of "Drawing by numbers", appropriate for age. For the child himself it will be very exciting - and at the exit a gorgeous picture, ready to decorate the grandfather's room.

Ideas for inspiration

There are a lot of gift ideas made by children. Try to move away from the standard options when your grandfather draws a tank on a postcard on February 23, and flowers at best for a birthday. Children should please with their interests, spontaneity, willingness to play. And grandfather usually happily joins this game.

For example, let your baby invite his grandfather to plunge into childhood. To do this, build from improvised items something that can resemble the workplace of an ice cream maker. The main thing is that there is a flat surface on which you can lay homemade popsicle and ice cream, and that there is an appropriate inscription.

A bunch of multi-colored balloons is also appropriate - who said that there shouldn't be balls at grandfather's birthday?

And “selling” (for smiles, of course) the baby will have a beautiful, unusual ice cream. To make it in advance, spend a creative lesson with your child, and preferably with all the grandchildren at once. Collect wooden sticks from ice cream, they will remain an invariable attribute of goodies. And for the ice cream itself, you need designer cardboard or thick colored paper.

Everything is used to decorate the base: sequins, sequins, rhinestones, felt-tip pens (for drawing patterns), peas from yarn and so on. And so you need to decorate each base, and then fix it on a stick. You need to decorate from two sides. It is desirable that there are as many treats as there are guests at the holiday. Then the grandfather, who was presented with such a small ticket to his childhood, will be able to treat all guests with surprises from his grandson.

      Another option is a joint photo of grandfather and grandson on canvas. If you have a favorite photograph of grandfather and grandson (granddaughters, grandchildren), you can transfer it to the canvas in a special workshop. You get a real picture that looks very convincing in any interior. Be sure to pack it festively, attach a small postcard, and let the grandson present such a pleasant surprise to his grandfather in a festive atmosphere.

      And again back to lettering - see how great the work in this technique looks. They are beautifully framed, and in any room it will be a good and modern decor. In this way you can write wishes, mottos, parting words, and for a birthday - one of the best options. And most importantly, in the process of making such a gift, the child learns self-discipline, concentration, accuracy, and acquires a skill.

      Start from the interests of the child, from modern capabilities and techniques, but, most importantly, do not spare the time and effort to make a gift for a loved one.
