The duffle coat, like many other models of outerwear, has its own story. It is connected primarily with the military. The progenitor of modern dufflecote was part of the form in the navy. It was intended to maintain warmth and convenience, because employees had to perform many active actions during the day. And only when such a coat fell into the interests of fashion designers and, consequently, on the catwalks, it began to spread everywhere.

Thanks to Yves Saint Laurent, duffle coat became known to the masses and fell in love with everyone - from students to business people. As often happened in the history of fashion, at first this product was intended for men, but soon won the hearts of fashionistas.

It is worth noting that women's duffle coats differ from men's only in the possibility of a fitted style and a large number of colors used.

What is a duffle coat? This is a single-breasted coat made of thick fabric, resistant to blowing. It has loose fit, medium length, a hood, large patch pockets and a special “highlight” in the form of wooden buttons, fangs, as well as rough patch loops for them. Of course, over time, the classic dufflecot model began to make changes, experimenting with many parameters, but in general its appearance is quite characteristic and recognizable.

Basically, a duffle coat is a one-color product, not counting leather sleeves and a color lining.

Despite the fact that duffle coat is most relevant to casual clothes, many styles will look good with business clothes. The main thing is to choose clothes in one stylistic solution, a suitable color scheme and not to forget about shoes that complete the image.

Sports things are not suitable for most duffle coats, therefore, in combination with them, sports pants, sneakers, and sneakers should be abandoned.

The most versatile things to wear with duffle coat are jeans (skinny, boyfriends, flare) and skinny pants.
