Special knives
Designed for both traditional slicing and narrowly targeted operations.
- For meat - the blade is solid and durable, curved by an arc, on the handle there is a special groove for safety.
- Boning - designed to better separate small pieces from bones and cartilage, the blade is narrow and long (12-18 cm), does not bend, the tip is pointed.
- Loin - It is necessary for the preparation of fish or meat fillets, has an external resemblance to boning, but the blade is more flexible.

- Santoku (it is also called Japanese) - perfectly copes with shredding a large volume of greens, vegetables, as well as with cutting carcasses of birds. A curved blade with small recesses, so that the products are well separated from the knife.
- Two-handed - looks like a wood planer: a cutting blade with handles on the sides. Good for slicing greens.
- For cheese - the blade is thin, with teeth, slightly perforated so that the slices do not stick to it. Just like a vegetable, a cheese knife has a forked fork on its tip to pry off sliced pieces.
- For oysters and hard cheeses - a short wide handle and the same wide blade, in shape resembling a drop of water. The blade is separated from the handle by a protective protrusion so that the hand does not slip during operation.

Hatchets
