In Russia for the first time attracted a model in a hijab for clothing advertising

The Russian retailer Gloria Jeans has decided for the first time to engage a model dressed in advertising in a new clothing collection in Muslim traditions in hijab. A hijab is a traditional Islamic women's head scarf and a long floor-length dress that conceals a figure.

The retailer accompanied the picture of the girl in such an outfit with the slogan - “With Gloria Jeans you can always be yourself! We are always glad to see you regardless of age, gender, color, religion, views. ”

Other Russian clothing chains have not previously conducted advertising campaigns specifically targeted at Muslims, although all over the world this is no longer news. Russia is a multinational country, and the solution itself suggested itself, say fashion experts. The decision of Gloria Jeans is not only a tribute to that part of the Russians who profess Islam, but also an emphasis on the fact that clothes are created for everyone.

“Gloria Jeans” has many stores in Chechnya, Dagestan, Tatarstan and Bashkiria, but there is no plan to create a separate assortment for them, oriented to religiosity. Jeans, shirts and t-shirts are sold the same everywhere, the company emphasized.

The Gloria Jeans advertising company was liked by the world community because it follows the trend - the growth of the value of each, taking into account its authenticity. Anna Lebsak-Kleimans, CEO of Fashion Consulting Group, expressed her admiration for Russian retailers. She noted that she was generally surprised that the Russians, for all their ethnic diversity, had not yet begun to really promote the theme of national uniqueness and general unity in fashion.

Of course, the image of a girl in jeans and a hijab is somewhat unusual. But this is only for now, experts are sure.
