Labor market analysts have noted an unusual trend, which until recently could plunge into shock - male nannies come into fashion. Increasingly, young mothers who are planning to go to work early require the recruitment agencies to find a specialist for child care with a mandatory requirement - the nanny should be a man.
Usually nannies are men of retirement or pre-retirement age. Many people use the service "Grandma for an hour", grandfathers there are almost a third of all offers. But experts say that more is needed given the high demand.
Most often, they want to get a male nanny in a family where boys grow up, especially if they grow up without a father. But even in complete families, the “mustachioed nannies” are welcome, the fathers themselves, who are busy at work, are asking for the male nanny, since they believe that leaving children without male education is stupid and even criminal.
It is easier for men to carry the stroller, raise the child, even if the elevator breaks down and the path lies on the high floor. Men are more seasoned, they are happy to play with their child their favorite games - the console, soccer, ride bicycles.
Moreover, no woman nanny can interact so easily and naturally simultaneously with two or three very mobile and active children.
Male nannies, according to psychologists, perfectly discipline their parents. Women mothers begin to feel more responsible, and fathers begin to show more paternal care, probably out of banal jealousy.
Some young parents who want to give their children a gender-neutral education also opt for male nannies.
Very often in “troubled families”, where the relationship between mom and dad is already on the verge of divorce, the appearance of an outsider is good incentive to normalize relations. And often, noticing how the children are drawn to the mustached nanny, the prodigal popes return to the family.
