It became known why the Russians make tattoos

The All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM) decided to take an interestwhy do Russians and Russians like tattoos so much and that pushes them to decide to draw a picture on the body.

It turned out that more than half of all residents of the country are tolerant and even almost indifferent to the presence of tattoos in others. 27% of the country's inhabitants do not approve of tattoos, especially among women, and only 15% of those surveyed approve of them.

Regarding the reasons why women and men decide on a tattoo, the majority of respondents said that the main motive was to stand out among their own kind, gain a certain personality. 43% of respondents said that they simply followed the fashion, did not want to lag behind it.

This is not surprising, experts say, because recently the propaganda of the tattooed body has gained unprecedented proportions - successful and famous people demonstrate tattoos on their bodies, and everyone else clearly does not want to lag behind them.

A third of respondents said that they got a tattoo "out of stupidity", generally not thinking much about this decision, submitting to the impulse. And 19% said that they had no reason at all and did it just like that.

Before a woman decides to get a tattoo, experts recommend paying attention to one more statistical nuance - one third of those who made a tattoo in their youth for any reason, after 55 years of age, begin to dream of getting rid of the pattern on their skin.

When asked why, they replied that they became I’m ashamed or the quality of the picture does not suit. There were those who replied that over the years the tattoo has ceased to like, has ceased to be fashionable and relevant. But only 1% of Russians agree to operations to reduce the figures. It’s understandable - driving a tattoo is much more unpleasant and painful than stuffing it.
