From love to hate: psychologists told how to predict and prevent betrayal and divorce

American psychologists conducted an interesting study to find out what, in fact, not enough for young and beautiful couples, why they decide on treason and divorce.

One and a half hundred young couples took part in the scientific experiment, which specialists carefully watched during the first 3.5 years of their life together after the wedding.

At the very beginning of the experiment, grooms and brides were asked to pass a simple psychological test, the purpose of which was to determine the likelihood of betrayal and divorce in this pair, in fact a simple compatibility test.

While there were observations, and psychologists just watched, without interfering in anything, some of the subjects divorced and managed to find new partners, and some were on the verge of a divorce process due to betrayal.

A careful study of the situation in each pair that took part in the experiment helped scientists understand what negatively affects family relationships.

It turned out that the strength of the bonds depends on how much husbands and wives are interested in other peoplethat seem to them more attractive than current partners.

The more men and women were interested in beautiful representatives of the opposite sex, even if the interest was purely platonic, the more often their marriages failed.

The study was conducted at the University of California. The authors of the study advised couples who enter into a marriage to pay close attention to this aspect and make sure that Do not create prerequisites for parting.
