At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, it was officially presented to the public new organization - Fashion Fund.
Her duty will be support for beginner Russian fashion designers and designersso that their ideas and undertakings help promote the Russian fashion industry both domestically and internationally.
The times when in Russia they could not sew trite, delivering the faceless “consumer goods” to stores, have already passed, experts say. In the country they learned to sew well and in high quality, and today in Russia there are a lot of excellent craftsmen who make quality goods that are not ashamed to wear.
Moreover, Russian clothing recently gained incredible popularity outside the country, and this is a great start.

At the same time, experts say, it’s disturbing that in recent years not a single new Russian fashion brand has appeared in the country, and even successful Russian projects from the point of view of world fashion houses are nothing more than small startups.
And even if you sponsor designers from Russia so that they can present their achievements on the world catwalks, the situation is unlikely to change, because it will not be difficult for Russians to compete with fashion leaders with a long history and big names in principle.
It was decided to create a fashion fund so that young talents get, first of all, a chance to promote their vision of fashion on the territory of their country and on the Internet.
Aysel Trudel and businessman Alexander Shumsky became the founder of the Fund.
Now the new organization has announced a massive search for talents - the fashion industry needs new names and therefore, all novice clothing designers can apply for support.
Better ideas can get not only business funds, but also become participants in national projects and receive state support. And the Russians will eventually receive new brands that they can wear with pleasure and pride.
