Fashion house Loewe apologizes for clothing similar to the shape of prisoners of concentration camps

The luxury brand Loewe is in an awkward situation. He had to apologize to the mods of the whole world and remove the things of the new collection from his site. The fact is that black and white striped shirt and trousersrecently presented reminded everyone clothing of prisoners of concentration camps of the Second World War.

Of course, the fashion house didn’t mean anything like that, and striped clothes became part of the William De Morgan capsule collection.

Loewe representatives said they did not want to hint at anything, and did not even think about the black pages of world history when creating these things.

Therefore, the scandalous shirt and pants have already been removed from the site and withdrawn from sale, despite the fact that things went on sale only a few days ago. The cost of a striped shirt was $ 950, complete with trousers - $ 1840.

This scandal in the fashion world is not the first of its kind. Five years ago Zara network offered striped striped pajamas with yellow stars on their chests that looked very much like the uniforms of the Holocaust victims.

Then the designers tried to make "sheriff" stars, and did not at all point to Jewish ones. As in today, they had to urgently recall things from the sale and remove all references to them.
