First you need to understand what a hot build. This is a way of attaching curls - "donors" to natural ones using molten microcapsules.

There are several hot hair extension methods. Consider them.

Currently considered obsolete. It consists in the formation of strands by the master himself, when he collects a "bundle" of hair - "donors" (they can be about 40-50 pieces), then applies hot resin to his base with the help of a "gun" and carefully presses the lock to the hair. The resin hardens and tightly “dries” to natural hair. Nowadays, this method is not popular, because the resin capsule is rapidly disintegrating, artificial strands begin to dissolve and disappear when combed. In addition, during the correction procedure, you will have to spend a lot of time, and there is a risk of damage to the hair.

The capsule is first softened, then cracked with forceps, resin is removed from the extended strands, and finally, the curls are formed again and are built up in the above order.

The pioneers of this method decided to improve the previous technology. They began to produce finished locks with a keratin capsule at the base. Such locks were fastened by thermal action with the help of special forceps.

This method, of course, has become more popular than English, since the time spent on assembling the locks was saved. In addition, keratin capsules were more sparing for natural hair. Therefore, the Italian technique has become popular in beauty salons.

This option was invented when it became clear that the Italian method has one drawback: with its help it is impossible to grow bangs, place locks along the parting. Micro-expansion allows you to do this. It uses very thin curls, and sometimes single hairs. The strands are attached using the Extend Magic tool, which heats up to 90 degrees Celsius (ordinary thermo-tongs give out all 200), thereby damaging natural hair. Even the representatives of the stronger sex resort to microwaving, who want to give thickness to the hair and hide bald patches.

• Thermal forceps. They are used in the Italian method. • Resin. It is used only by those masters who practice the English method of building.

• Microcapsule forceps. This device is designed for atraumatic softening and subsequent removal of the microcapsule from the hair.
• Laser for extension. An innovative device with whose help you can attach the locks so that they will be almost invisible in the hair. It has not yet received wide distribution due to its very high cost - not every hairdresser is able to "fork out" for it.
• Glue gun. It is used when building the English method. The principle of its operation is as follows: it heats the resin mass to the desired temperature, after which it adheres to natural hair and dries.
• Ultrasound machine. Helps speed up the build-up process. Microcapsules are heated by ultrasonic treatment, which spares hair and brings comfort to the procedure.

A procedure such as hot hair extensions has its pros and cons. Let's consider them in order.

Pros:

• hot building helps to hide the attachment points of the “donor” locks, and as a result, an almost uniform naturalistic hair is obtained;
• You will not be shy in the choice of styling, since keratin microcapsules are invisible in the hair;
• when fulfilling all the recommendations of the master on caring for extended strands, you can enjoy thick and long hair for about three months;
• periodically performing corrections and not “changing” donor strands, you can walk with curls up to a year.

Minuses:

• if your choice falls on Italian or English methods, you will have to be content with loose curls, as you won’t be able to do “tails” and high hairstyles;
• correction procedure is a rather lengthy process;
• microcapsules can "creep" with too much exposure;
• if the capsules are large, they can “remind” of their presence with uncomfortable sensations;
• girls with thin sparse hair can only choose microwaving;
• locks - “donors” are prone to combing out, especially when attached to resin.
