Hair extensions was a salvation for those women who, by nature, they are not as thick as we would like. The technology allows you to quickly change the length of curls to create the necessary hairstyle. Hollywood building has its own differences, pros and cons, all of this will be discussed in the article.

Hollywood hair extensions came to us from actresses who needed to maintain a stage image, respectively, and increase the length of curls. The effect of a larger volume was easily achieved using a special procedure, which first implied the creation of braids on the back of the head, and donor strands were attached to them. Sometimes this build-up is also called afon-extension due to the use of such braids.

This is not to say that it was convenient to wear such artificial hair, since they had to be fixed using special threads. There was no question of combing and speech, and all because the ringlets could be torn from the head with a slight careless movement, therefore they did not carry locks for a long time.

With the advent of new technologies, it was possible to improve the method. Now keratin capsules are used, through which donor curls are attached. But, they alone are not enough, an ultrasound apparatus is also used in the process.

This is a great solution for those who can’t boast too thick a shock of hair, or want to quickly lengthen the curls. But not every woman can afford such a procedure, since there are contraindications, which include several factors:

• natural curls are weak, very brittle and thin;
• frequent hair loss;
• if there are any dermatological diseases on the scalp;
• the process of undergoing chemotherapy or the presence of cancer;
• a woman is prescribed a course of antibiotics or hormonal drugs.

Every girl dreams of having luxurious hair, and most dwell on the use of Hollywood technology, as she possesses several advantages:

• if we talk about the safety of the procedure, then there is absolutely nothing to worry about;

The technology is phased as follows:

• all hair that is from the line of the forehead to the crown is pulled into a bun so that they do not interfere;
• then a bundle of hair is separated under the cleaned and braided French braid from ear to ear, while the size of the weave should be from 1 centimeter;
• through a special thread that undergoes heat treatment, artificial strands are woven into natural curls;
• the end of the thread that remains is simply cut off.

In an improved version, the master uses capsules, which, in essence, makes the Hollywood extension similar in principle to the Italian method, the only difference is that there is no temperature effect, only ultrasound.

Capsules are sealed on the surface, and the apparatus itself chooses the necessary mode of operation, taking into account not only the structure of the hair, but also their thickness.

The whole procedure is divided into several stages.

• First you need to wash your hair well and dry it.
• Strands stand out gradually from the total mass. To make it more convenient to work, most specialists prefer to do longitudinal parting.
• For each small lock, artificial hair is fixed with a capsule. In the process, ultrasonic forceps are used, and the master must control the exposure time depending on the type of hair.
• The optimal result in length and volume is achieved after 130 extended strands.

As they say, beauty requires sacrifice, and this rule also applies to hair extensions. After the procedure, you have to face some problems, especially if a woman fell into the hands of an inexperienced master.

As soon as the roots have grown, the place where the fastening was made becomes clearly visible. But the loss of aesthetic appeal is not all; difficulties arise when combing and washing your hair. Near the roots, curls begin to get very confused, tangles appear, so the correction is best done no later than three months after building.

In order not to spoil the joints, the woman will have to abandon the use of masks, oils, combs with a frequent arrangement of teeth. The correction process takes a little longer than the initial build-up, since the capsules must first be removed with a special composition, and then the strands should be fixed again. On average, it takes up to 4 hours. When using the old technology with braids, first weave the braids, then wash, dry and braid the braids again, followed by the application of artificial hair.

The capsule is removed with special forceps, the keratin residues are simply combed out using a scallop.

To do hairstyles, including braiding, you need to carefully care for hair extensions. The best comb is a wooden one with a large distance between the teeth. If nodules have formed, then it is better to try to untangle them manually first, only then proceed to washing your hair. Immediately after the procedure, the hair should not be in contact with water for two days, and in the place where the capsule is located, they do not use any care products at all.

After removing the artificial curls, it will be necessary to strengthen the roots, for this, masks made of oils and other natural components are ideal, which are designed to stimulate the growth of bulbs.Shampoos should be gentle, it is advisable to use balms.

Women who have already taken the opportunity to add more volume and length to their hair claim that proper care can help keep natural hair healthy. Hair dryers, curling irons and irons should be used as rarely as possible, since the hair is already experiencing additional stress.

The advantage of this extension is that you can dye your hair in standard mode, but at the same time, the products must have a low pH level. If concentrated shampoo is used, then it is better to dilute it with water so as not to damage the capsules, otherwise the curls may simply fall off.

In any case, wet hair should not be combed or even worse twisted. It is correct to comb only after the curls have dried naturally, starting from the bottom and gradually moving to the roots.

Women really like that when using this technology there are no restrictions on length and volume, which means that every girl can become the owner of a chic head of hair. In places of fixation, there is no feeling of discomfort, since only a small number of girls get irritated by the Hollywood build-up. Moreover, from most other methods, this one, the most sparing for hair, therefore, the procedure is expensive.
