Training
In order to work as a subway engineer, it is best get a professional education in the field of “locomotive driver”. The course ends with a one-month internship at the depot. In fact, at this point, the staff is already being executed and the labor contract is concluded, and the size of the salary is also being established. But the work is carried out under the supervision of a mentor who has permission to train subway drivers.
At the end of the internship, you must pass the exams:

- mechanical equipment;
- electrical equipment;
- train control.
However, successful study and passing the final tests does not at all provide an instant promotion and occupation of the position of “subway engineer”. Applicants will have to to work on the position of assistant driver for another 3 months.
