Shellac jacket for short nails is one of the most popular manicure options, and there is an explanation for this. Its undoubted advantages are the following:

• aesthetic, impeccable appearance, which is relevant for both a regular day and for a holiday;
• restraint of tones allows you to use a similar design in combination with any clothes and cosmetics;
• manicure can be performed on short and medium length nails.

Many women of fashion have fallen in love with this type of care and decor for a more prosaic reason - the nails treated in this way do not require adjustment for two weeks, so when going on vacation, you do not need to bring manicure accessories with you.

French manicure can be done at home, using ordinary varnishes, or use the services of a professional master in the salon. At home, for work you will need a volumetric file, lint-free napkins or paper scarves, a degreaser, a UF lamp (36 W), and a primer as a cleaning and disinfectant. The application technique involves several stages. Finished with hygienic and mechanical preparation, after which the nail already has a certain shape, you can proceed to the main part of the procedure by executing the following algorithm:

• first, a transparent base (one layer) is applied with a wide brush and dried in a UF lamp for two minutes;
• then a color, single-layer coating is made, as a rule, beige or light coffee, it must be dried a little longer - three minutes;

• on the third, a “smile” is created, that is, the overgrown part of the nail is stained, special stencils can be used to make the edge more clear;
• at the end, a fixing, finishing shellac is applied to the plate - its layer should be quite thick, and it needs to be dried for about five minutes.

Universal design is done using a transparent base and a white edging, but there are other types of manicure, which are suitable for different occasions, namely:

• two-tone or multi-color jacket - when the nails are made in one palette or different shades are used for different nails - this technique is similar to the classic coating, but brighter tones are chosen;

• reverse (moon) decor - when the nail plate at the base, covered with a contrasting color, forms a crescent;

• millennium - in this case, the main part of the nail is covered with a pastel, nude shade, while the edging can be brighter and contain a metallic tint;

• decorative coating - This is an additional decoration with applications, beads, images.

The most popular colors when performing a service jacket are: beige, white, peach, salmon, coffee, turquoise and pink. The original version is a jacket with a pattern - for this it is necessary to cover the nail with a decor before applying the finish layer. Another type of design is the decoration with sparkles and rhinestones, which can be easily done with your own hands, besides the pebbles can hide some defects.
