Previously, if Muslim women visited the beach with a desire to swim, they had to plunge into the water in their everyday clothes, which caused a lot of discomfort. Sooner or later, this problem had to be solved, and this was done by the talented Lebanese designer Aheda Zanneti. Her invention is called burkini. The name of the model of a closed swimsuit resembles a “bikini”, but the appearance and significance of these things are the opposite.

The values ​​and rules of Muslim women are different from the mentality of Europeans. European fashionistas seek to emphasize the dignity of their body on the beach, and oriental girls, on the contrary, seek to hide the beauty as much as possible. To achieve this goal can not do without burkini.

The classic set of a closed swimsuit for Muslim women looks like fused elements of fabric, folding into a very attractive model. Many compare burkini with hijab. The kit also contains a hat, beach pants, hood or hood.

Burkini was created specifically for Muslim women, but, after some time, European girls dressed in this closed swimsuit began to appear on the beaches. Why is this happening?

The invention appeared in 2007 and caused a great stir in the media and in the fashion world. If Muslim swimsuits aroused approval in some of the society, the rest expressed dissatisfaction. Many argue that burkini (just like other closed items for eastern women) inhibit society in development.

Initially, burkini for Muslim women was made out only in the traditional dark color. However, as the closed swimsuit began to gain popularity, fashion designers decided to change a lot in both the color scheme and the style.

Soon Aheda Zanneti took a new initiative. Stating that Burkini fully complies with the rules established by Islam for the weak half of humanity, she proposed to diversify the color palette of swimwear. Designers fully approved the idea, and Muslim women were happy to get the opportunity to choose beachwear.

Fashion designers from Turkey went even further. Under their leadership, a new style appeared - an improved burkini, called "hashem." Ninety percent of this model coincides with burkini, but the remaining nine percent are very significant.

• The hood was replaced with a cute swimming cap.

Closed Muslim swimsuits are sometimes bought for their children by Europeans. It happens that for medical reasons, babies are not allowed to stay under the scorching sun for a long time. Burkini save children from overheating and burns.

Burkini swimwear was supposed to help Islamic girls integrate into Western European society. Did it work out?

According to David Liznar, Mayor of Cannes, the Burkini create danger around Muslim women. The first alarm bell occurred in this French resort. A tourist crushed 85 people in Islamic clothes on a truck. Now the girl who decided to visit the beach in Cannes, dressed in burkini, is required to pay a large fine.

The society was shocked by the incident on the island of Corsica.Corsian teenagers amused the appearance of Muslim women in closed swimsuits. Spit on moral standards, teenagers began to photograph girls. The reaction of their husbands on the same beach was predictable. There was a serious fight, as a result of which it was necessary to hospitalize people with severe injuries.

Physical injuries were not limited to. Cars were burned, the fire spread to the trees, which provoked a terrible fire. The mayor of Sisko, where the clash occurred, followed the example of Liznar.

The French “Group against Islamophobia” criticized the ban on the use of Muslim swimsuits, but the court reacted to the appeal with a decisive refusal. The court ruling recalled that the French Republic established the priority of secularism over religious traditions.

Representatives of the feminist movement fully supported the taboo on burkini. They are of the opinion that hiding a person in public places violates gender equality.

Muslim women themselves received complaints about threats from the indigenous population of France. The ban on wearing burkini can save them from life in constant fear for their health.

• There can be no talk of any beautiful tan. The sun's rays are in contact only with the skin of the face, feet and palms.
• It is very difficult for Muslim women living in Russia to pick up burkini because of the limited assortment.
• A Muslim swimsuit will dry out for a long time. Manufacturers have carefully selected the right fabric, but the models will still cause women inconvenience.
• After swimming, the burkini will lose its original shape.

In general, Muslim girls are satisfied with closed swimsuits. They provide much more convenience than a casual outfit in which oriental women were forced to swim.

Numerous patterns and colors provide the opportunity to choose burkini depending on your preferences, but, unfortunately, this plus does not apply to residents of Russia.
