You decided to buy a swimsuit for the pool and can not decide? When buying, first of all, evaluate the functionality of the new thing.

Good sports swimsuit:

  • Rather fused than separate. With active training, the bodice of a separate swimsuit can untie or fly off the body. Such swimwear is suitable only for small sports loads. One-piece bathing suit is more reliable and keeps on the body much better. But if you really like separate swimwear and do not accept one-piece ones - go for it, get a swimsuit to your taste.
  • It does not constrain movements and does not expose the body with sharp swings of the arms.
  • It has large straps, and the back is closed - in this case, you can train with comfort and not be afraid that the swimsuit will slip off of you.
  • It does not have excess accessories and jewelry - beads, ribbons, buttons.
  • It supports breasts well thanks to the sewn or removable cup. Or reliably fixes the chest with wide straps and dense tissue.
  • Made from quality material.
  • Tightly fits the body. If the swimsuit is large for you, the straps will be pulled apart during professional training, if the size is small - the swimsuit will "scream" into the torso. The size of the swimsuit is designed for average growth, so tall girls need to buy models that are larger in size and not tall, on the contrary - one size smaller.
  • The seams are inconspicuous, high-quality processed, threads and elastic bands do not stick out. To check whether the swimsuit is sewn in good quality, stretch the fabric next to the seam: if holes have appeared at the seams, the swimsuit is poorly stitched, it will last you very little and will quickly “creep out”.It’s better not to take it.

When buying, it is advisable to try on a new thing. The bathing suit should not be pressed, rubbed, the fabric cannot frown and stretch too much. It is in the right swimsuit that your workouts will be most productive.

Materials

The most important criterion when choosing a swimsuit for the pool is the strong fabric from which the product is sewn. For regular classes you need very high quality material. Chlorine, which is used to clean pools in Russia, can ruin the fabric of a swimsuit, and it will lose its attractive appearance.

When buying, carefully read the signs on the swimsuit label, so you will know what the product is made of. What badges can be present there?

  • Pes - Polyester. Material for the most inexpensive swimwear for the pool, which will quickly wear out in the pool water due to the low quality.
  • Co is cotton. Cotton swimsuits are the mildest and most environmentally friendly, they are nice to wear, but bleach is a fierce enemy of cotton material. Such bathing suits under her influence turn yellow, stretch, change their original shape.
  • El is elastane. Excellent material for swimwear, products from it are durable, hold their shape well and dry quickly.
  • Sp is spandex. It is similar in characteristics to elastane - swimwear is also smooth to the touch, durable, and of high quality.
  • Pa is a polyamide. Soft swimwear made of polyamide are not afraid of chlorinated water. In addition, they are quick-drying, and in combination with elastane or lycra, are considered one of the best options for training in the pool, characterized by high strength.
  • Tac is a tactile. One of the most expensive materials, as swimwear made of this fabric are considered “breathable”. In addition, they are very soft, dry quickly and do not stretch.
  • Ny is nylon. The material is used primarily for sports models of swimwear, due to its high elasticity. In addition, it has a sedative effect and fits the body well.
  • Microfiber - soft and smooth to the touch products are sewn from it, which quickly dry after training, they pass air well. In them, the skin really "breathes", but the cost of such bathing suits is quite high.

A good composition of a swimming suit is 80% polyamide and 20% lycra (or elastane). Another option is 55% polyamide and 45% PBT. PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) is not a fabric, it is part of the composition integrated into the material, so the tag can simply indicate elastane or polyester. PBT swimwear is denser, but smoother and more pleasant to the touch, with high durability and adaptability to chlorinated water.

“Ly” on the label means the amount of lycra in the material of this product, which helps to not overtighten and maintain shape. As a standard, a bathing suit contains about 10% lycra. Some draining swimsuits may have a lycra content of 2 times more than -20%. If the label indicates that lycra in the material is more than 30% - this is not a good option for purchase, such a swimsuit practically does not let air in, which negatively affects the skin.

Chlorine in the pool can also negatively affect the elastic bands in a bathing suit; it seems to “corrode” them. Therefore, it is better for athletes to buy a suit, where instead of elastic bands - overlock treated fabric.

Today, shops offer us swimwear from all the above materials, try not to make a mistake and get a really high-quality product.

Styles

Suits with an open back and thin straps

Suitable for sophisticated girls with small breasts. Many of these models are produced under the brand name "Reebok". For girls with large breasts, there is a variation of this costume with sewn-in support for the chest (resembles a topic with an elastic band).

Suits with large straps intersecting on the back

Swimsuit for confident ladies, set up for gambling training. This is a rather feminine model, which fits the body tightly and emphasizes the slimness of the figure.Wide straps lie softly on the body, do not rub and do not crash. Such a swimsuit allows you to make more free movements in the shoulders and shoulder blades. He holds his chest perfectly.

Hooded bathing suit

This model hides the body as much as possible, has a sedative effect and good breast support. Ideal for lush women with large breasts.

When buying, be sure to evaluate the style of the new thing - the suit should mask the flaws of your body and emphasize the merits - then it will be much more pleasant to engage in it. Side inserts of a contrasting color will help to hide extra pounds at the waist. A triangular neckline will make the neck longer, and the straps connecting on the collarbone will hide wide shoulders. For example, swimsuits with vertical stripes will increase your height, while horizontal ones will add volume.

Some models visually increase the breast with the help of linings, cups in the bodice, belts with elastic. In others, the lycra content is increased, due to this they perfectly drag out and correct the figure. There are costumes with special slimmer inserts on the stomach. There are many options!

Focus on your taste, do not skimp on a good bathing suit, and you will be absolutely irresistible in training in the pool!

Separate

Separate training models are less commonly used. They usually consist of a closed sports top with large straps or a bodice with strong elastic bands. The bottom of the suit is shorts or panties with good elastic.

Children's models

Children's sports swimwear is usually plain, their fabric is denser than that of women's swimwear, this prevents slipping during training. For the same reason, swimwear for girls is more often produced whole, because children usually move more actively than adults. In addition, a one-piece swimsuit protects a large surface of the skin from bleach, which can be harmful to children.

When buying, you need to correctly determine the required dimension. Unlike adult swimwear, children's size is determined by the height of the child. Therefore, you need to know the growth of the girl, because she must be comfortable in a swimsuit. It is best to come along with a girl for a purchase and try on an outfit for the pool.

If this does not work out, it is advisable to bring the child’s panties, the right size, and attach them to the purchased product.

A swimsuit for a girl should be her size. If you buy a small swimsuit, it will begin to rub, crush, and when you buy "for growth" it can simply fall off the child. It is advisable for the boy to buy classic swimming trunks.

Colors

When choosing the colors of your bathing suit, do not forget about the chlorinated pool water. It will quickly change the brightness of the color, and in a couple of weeks your swimsuit will lose its original appearance. Noticeable, rich colors fade, while white and milky colors may become yellowish. Too light with time may turn out to be completely transparent in the water, because bleach gradually makes the material thinner. It is best to choose neutral or dark colors for a swimsuit so that the color change of the fabric is not too noticeable.

Decorative fittings may be present, the main thing is that with fast movements she should not cling to anything, do not scratch and rub the skin. Pay attention to what it is made of - plastic jewelry will gradually brighten, and plastic jewelry will become dull.

How to care?

It is very important to properly care for the new thing, because a good swimming outfit is an expensive pleasure. Therefore, it is best to maximize the life of your swimsuit, observing simple rules:
