And if one of your loved ones is allergic to certain natural essential substances, you simply will not add these components to your home flavor.
  • Many who are trying to make the usual home appliances with their own hands have noticed that in the end it turns out to be good to save on this, because manufacturers include their risks, transportation costs, etc. And if you have mastered the flavor manufacturing algorithm, you just need to purchase the necessary components. In this case, you do not overpay for the packaging and many unnecessary elements in the composition of aerosols and other artificial fresheners.

How and from what to make?

Having decided on the choice of aroma, you can begin to manufacture a home-made device for flavoring the apartment. However, you can use your flavor not only for rooms. There is no hindrance to freshen the air in the car or to give it a pleasant fragrance to bedding and other favorite things.

Aroma spray

To make this simple, air-freshening device, you need to prepare a spray bottle and a small plastic bottle with a screw neck.Even better, if you can find glass bottles or bottles with a suitable neck for screwing the spray bottle.

So, in the selected container you need to pour 150-200 ml of cooled boiled water. You can also use refined distilled. Then there you need to add about 10 drops of the selected essential oil. In the future, you can adjust the number of ether components depending on personal feelings.

If you picked up a composition of aromas, drip 2-3 drops of each oil. The main thing - do not overdo it!

The sprayer for aromatization of air is ready. Shake well before use.

Gelatin Flavor

To create and maintain a pleasant smell in the room, you can use a kind of “jelly”, which will constantly emit a fragrance for several days.

Gelatin should be taken in the amount of 2 tbsp. tablespoons, pour it with a glass of warm water, stir and heat over low heat until completely dissolved. For a more beautiful visual effect, you can add food coloring to the water, then the frozen gel-like mass will have a certain color.

In the container with heated gelatin, enter the selected oil. 10-15 drops are enough. So that the composition does not dry too quickly, it is worth adding 1 teaspoon of glycerin.

After allowing to cool slightly, pour the resulting mass into a transparent glass jar with a wide neck. For the best decorative effect, you can add beautiful pebbles, shells, flower petals and other decorations to the same place.

A beautiful fragrance made from natural ingredients is ready.

Soda Air Freshener

Very easy to make flavoring based on simple baking soda, which is found in the kitchen, perhaps, every housewife. The powder must be poured into a small container. It can be a jar or a plastic container, the main thing is that the top of the dishes is wide.

One or more essential oils are added to the soda. You can mix the whole mass a little with a stick, so that the esters are better distributed.

Then the container with soda should be closed with thick paper or foil, securing them with a tight elastic band. In the "cover" you need to make a few holes with a toothpick, an awl or a thick needle.

Such a composition not only spreads a fragrance for a long time, but also is able to absorb unpleasant odors from the outside. Therefore, this version of the freshener is well suited for use in the bathroom or in the kitchen.

Fragrance for home based on water and alcohol

This recipe is a slightly enhanced version of the scent spray on water described just above. Alcohol contains many volatile particles that will help the esters to spread better indoors.

As in the previous case, you will need a small capacity and a spray bottle. In 1 glass of water you need to add 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vodka or 1 tbsp. a spoonful of pure 90% alcohol. 10-15 drops of essential oil should be poured there. After shaking, the pleasant smell can be sprayed around the room.

Fragrant sticks

A very long playing freshener, for the manufacture of which you will need wooden skewers or other thin sticks.

You will also need a small bottle, always with a narrow neck. There you need to pour in about 100 grams of the so-called base oil, that is, odorless. In everyday life, the first thing that comes to mind from the most affordable is refined sunflower.

2 tbsp. Are also added to the oil container tablespoons of vodka and 5-10 drops of the selected aromatic ether. Close the neck and shake the bottle several times to mix the ingredients.

The flavor is ready. Put it in the room and put some wooden sticks in the bottle. They should rise above the neck. After 3 hours, the sticks need to be turned over and they will begin to emit a pleasant smell. After the fragrance begins to weaken, turn them over again. The intensity of the smell depends on the number of sticks: the more they are, the stronger and brighter the aroma.

Wax based

A good option for a bathroom or bedroom. It will take 100–120 g of purified natural wax, 1 teaspoon of flavourless base oil, 5 drops of essential oil with the chosen aroma, a piece of thick woolen thread.

Wax should be placed in a small enameled container and melt over low heat, and preferably in a water bath. When it becomes quite liquid, you need to pour in the base oil and, constantly mixing, add the essential.

Turn off the heat. Gently pour the wax into a small container and immerse the thread trimmers in the center. It is best to tie a small weight on its end so that the thread evenly drops to the very bottom. As you might guess, it will be a wick for the resulting homemade scented candle.
