Also, tea tree oil can be found in online stores, on sites with cosmetics or food additives (since it is referred to as therapeutic cosmetic products).

Application rules

Tea tree oil should be stored in a place protected from sunlight, for example, in the refrigerator at a temperature of no more than 10 degrees or in a dark cabinet. It is strictly forbidden to store it without a lid - this means that the product will deteriorate very quickly, expire.

It is not forbidden to apply oil to inflammation pointwise, but a much greater effect can be achieved if applied in combination with other ingredients. Here are some proven recipes for getting rid of subcutaneous acne and common acne.

In the form of lotion or tonic

Lotion or tonic can be used as a fixing stage of cleansing after washing. Means with tea tree oil in the composition will reduce inflammation, gradually lighten the acne, close the pores after washing. To prepare it you will need:

  • herbal collection of chamomile, calendula or sage;
  • 7 drops of tea tree oil;
  • 2 drops of lemon juice (for problem or oily skin);
  • 10 drops of jojoba oil or rose hip.

All ingredients can be found at the pharmacy and grocery store.

The cooking process is simple: dilute 2 tablespoons or 2 bags of the selected herb collection with a glass of water, put on a small fire until it boils. Cool, let it brew for an hour. Add oils, lemon juice, mix thoroughly.

This lotion can be used both for the face and for the back, arms and legs.

With clay

Clay masks are well-known and proven remedies for acne, traces of them, oily sheen and enlarged contaminated pores. Purchased clay masks with tea tree are quite expensive and often have a not quite natural composition. Homemade ones will cost a penny, in addition, they are completely natural.

Depending on your skin type, buy clay. White, black and green are suitable for oily, combination and problematic dermis, blue and pink - for dry, with normal skin, you can use any color. You will also need:

  • water - boiled or mineral, herbal infusion or kefir;
  • 3 drops of tea tree ether;
  • 5 drops of base oil.

In a non-metallic dish, mix 1-2 tablespoons of clay with water or another liquid until a thin sour cream. Stir, add the base oil first, then the essential oil, mix again.

Since the esters quickly expire and lose their properties, you need to apply the mask immediately: with a thick layer on the skin previously cleansed of cosmetics. At first, a slight tingling sensation may be felt - but for remedies with a tea tree, this is normal. If these sensations intensify, but do not pass, immediately rinse the clay with cool water.

If you feel comfortable, hold the mask for 15 minutes (in the case of dry skin - 10) and rinse it off. It is very important not to allow the clay to completely dry out on the skin. After use, apply a moisturizer.

Clay masks help with acne on the face and other parts of the body.
