Every woman dreams of well-groomed beautiful hair with rich bright color. However, not everyone can afford trips to salons, someone does not have enough time, someone has finances.
The way out is the use of professional paints at home. An excellent assistant in this matter is C: EHKO hair dye.
The brand
C: EHKO was founded in 1940. At this difficult time for the whole world, German-born hairdresser Robert Schmidt creates eau de toilette for hair based on plant-based natural ingredients, which quickly conquers an army of thousands of fans. Today, the Ewald family successfully continues the Schmidt affair.
The entire production of cosmetic products from C: EHKO (starting from laboratory testing and ending with sales and management) takes place in one large building. Professional cosmetics brand enjoys great success in more than 20 countries, and the number of satisfied customers is increasing every day. The original packaging design and the sophistication of the bottles emphasize the exclusivity of the German brand product. Appearance and content suggests that C: EHKO cosmetics gently cares for curls and brings aesthetic satisfaction to customers from its use.
Advantages and disadvantages
Professional German paint C: EKO is produced for high-quality coloring of hair of any type, length and condition. These products are not as famous as other cosmetic products of famous companies, however, they cope with their direct responsibilities no worse.
You can use the paint at home, even an inexperienced person can handle it, the main thing is to read the instructions before use.The paint well paints over the gray hair, tones the previously dyed, but tarnished from time to time hair, the hair after it becomes silky with a beautiful shade.
And all thanks to protein, keratin and oils, which are part of the coloring matter. They neutralize the harm from the chemical components of the dye, it is these components that provide softness and shine. With their help, the hair gets a beautiful, lasting color, as well as their structure improves and silkiness remains for a long time.
In addition to a positive effect on the hair, scalp benefits from C: ENCO dye. The pigment mixture cares for the epidermis and helps the paint to penetrate into each individual hair without damaging it. The brand's products have all the documents confirming the quality of the goods, and its production complies with the established standards.
The disadvantage of C: ENCO paint is the quick withering of the color and the increased stiffness of the hair after dyeing.
But these unpleasant nuances can be avoided if, as the manufacturer advises, together with paint to buy care products of the same brand.
Also, a rather aggressive oxidizing agent is considered a minus. And if it is wrong to mix the proportions of dye and oxidizing agent, as a result, you can get incompletely colored strands, and in the worst case, even damaged hair.
Varieties
Hair dye C: ENCO is available in several lines.
Cream-paint Color Explosion
It features a wide range of colors and shades - over 100 items, as well as 8 mix tones. The coloring pigments contain almond protein and jojoba oil, which add shine to colored strands.
With its help, you can create unique and inimitable images.
Color Vibration tinting paint
It has silk protein and beeswax. It is produced in 37 shades and is designed to create bright, but not too long bows, since the tone is quickly washed off, which is provided by the manufacturer. Color Vibration colors the hair and at the same time takes care of the hair: smoothes the structure and moisturizes them.
Red eruption highlights.
Red eruption highlights - cream paint for coloring. Only 3 shades: red-violet, copper and pure red. The developers thought of it as a paint for girls and women who see themselves only in red color, with fiery hair. Smoothness and silkiness after painting guarantees the almond protein, which is part of Red eruption.
Color palette
The color palette C: ENCO, as mentioned earlier, is unusually wide. Each shade has its own digital code indicated on the package. The first digit indicates the main tone that will be obtained at the end of the staining. The second is an additional shade that comes with the main tone. The third digit is a subton, but it is not always in the selected color.
For example, the designation on the cardboard packaging 12.30 means that the purchased product will give the color “platinum blond” (gold) as a result of coloring.
Staining technology
In most cases, the coloring composition is applied to wet hair, but this rule does not apply to paint from C: ENCO. The substance is applied only to dry hair, nothing else. Before staining, you need to carefully read the instructions and learn about the contraindications that German paint has.
Staining consists of the following steps.
- You need to thoroughly comb your hair.
- Cover your shoulders and back with a protective cloak.
- Dilute the coloring composition in any dish (metal exception) in equal proportions: cream paint and oxidizing agent.
- Take one strand of hair 3-4 cm wide and color it evenly from root to tip. Smears should not be chaotic.
- With an even and confident movement, you need to alternately color all the remaining curls.
- After applying the product, you need to wait 35-45 minutes (if the hair will not be wrapped) and 20-25 minutes if a cellophane hat and warming cloth are put on top of the hairline.
At the end of the allotted time, it is necessary to wash off the hair dye with running water at a pleasant temperature.
The manufacturer recommends using additional care products (rinse conditioner) to better wash off dye particles, as well as to saturate the hair and epidermis of the head with nutrients.
Wet hair should be wiped with a towel and allowed to dry naturally.
Contraindications
C: ENCO paint has a number of contraindications, knowing which everyone can decide for themselves whether to use this product or not. The list looks like this.
- Very damaged hair. Skin diseases of the head (fungus, seborrhea) and mechanical injuries.
- Individual intolerance any component from the composition of the product.
- Allergic reaction on the composition of the funds.
- Pregnant and lactating women.
Reviews
Unfortunately, paint from C: EKO among many professional paints is not included in the list of best-selling. Despite the German origin of the brand, which many prefer, C: ENKO has not yet gained much popularity among residents of post-Soviet countries. Many women do not even notice the red boxes with the inscription C: ENKO. Reviews about brand products are the most controversial.
Of the positive aspects, customers say that the paint is applied and smeared easily and evenly. It does not have a pronounced chemical smell, although some consumers complain that the strong smell of ammonia is felt everywhere before and after staining. They complain that the paint mixes very poorly with the oxidizing agent. When washing off, the dye foams very much. The balm that comes with the paint softens the hair well, makes it obedient, as a result, it combes well.
The instruction, as the girls note, is quite large, but complaints come in that there is no useful information there. Some consumers of the fair sex after applying paint began to burn scalp. And the resulting color did not at all correspond to the one stated on the package. Also, after the staining procedure, many began to lose their hair very much, and those that remained were very stratified.
But, despite the many negative reviews, professionals stood up in defense of the paint. In their opinion, C: ENKO is a professional paint, therefore only specially trained people can work with it. The instruction for many beginners turns out to be uninformative, and the results do not live up to expectations, since inexperienced users do not take into account the initial state and hair color, mix components incorrectly, overexpose the paint or hold too little. Also, complaints that the paint is washed off very quickly are not entirely appropriate, since any salon paint is designed to return to the salon again after a month and a half, to update the color. And, finally, it is common for hair to “accumulate” a tinting substance.
