We all dream of a beautiful and even tan, but getting it is not easy. In the cold season, they resort to the help of a solarium, and in the summer they use natural sunlight.

To obtain a uniform, golden skin color, various cosmetics are used that protect us from burning and contribute to the correct distribution of UV rays. But the most suitable all the same are natural products that have not only protective, but also nutritional properties.

One such remedy is sunflower oil.

Product feature

This is a product derived from sunflower seeds. Depending on the method of obtaining sunflower squeeze is divided into several types.

  • Crude Cold Crude Oil - get under the influence of the press without the use of high temperatures. Such a product retains to the maximum all useful components.
  • Cold pressing after preliminary roasting the seeds - this method kills most of the valuable elements.
  • Refining - Raw materials go through many stages of processing, including chemicals and heat. Naturally, the benefits of such a product are not discussed. But then it does not have a precipitate at all, since the finely and coarse-grained components are removed from it.

Thus, unrefined cold-pressed oil is most useful. It is primarily valued for its fatty acid content: stearic, myristic, palmitic, oleic, linoleic and linolenic. Omega-6, unsaturated fatty acids are also present.

Vitamins D and K are distinguished from the vitamin variety in the oily liquid. The leading position belongs to vitamin E, which, by the way, is the main antioxidant of our body.

And also unrefined oil contains wax, phosphorus-containing substances, non-greasy impurities. Given that it is a herbal product, it does not contain cholesterol at all. There are 99.9 g of fat per 100 g of product.

The use of unrefined sunflower oil for tanning is a worthy solution, since it has all the necessary qualities to obtain a similar effect.

How does it work?

After applying oily liquid to the skin as a tanning agent, it forms a greasy film on it.

  • It contributes to the preservation of moisture in the layers of the dermis, so that the skin does not dry out, maintains elasticity and does not thin.
  • The film is protective: it smoothes out the effects of the aggressive sun. The fat layer from it heats up and scatters UV rays, achieving their uniform distribution on the skin. Thanks to this, it acquires a beautiful golden hue.

Oil nourishes the dermis with vitamins and fatty acids. The skin becomes silky, shiny and velvety to the touch. In addition, the product helps to regenerate the upper skin layer.

Sunflower squeeze has 100% naturalness, it contains no preservatives, perfumes and stabilizers. Therefore, it is almost never allergic. It is a safe and fairly effective way to get your desired tan.

The result is not long in coming: the combination of oil and the sun enhances the rate of formation of melanin, which is responsible for the darkening of the dermis.

The grease film remains on the skin surface for a rather long time and does not wash off after swimming in the sea. The maximum time during which you can sunbathe after applying the oil is 4 hours. In principle, this time period is enough to enjoy plenty of sunbathing.

But if you want to prolong the pleasure, apply the product again. But consider the fact that you run the risk of falling into a dangerous time period from 11.00 to 15.00. And in this case, even sunflower oil may not help you.

Sunflower oil is shown to be smeared not only before going to the beach, but also before going to the solarium. It is used a couple of hours before visiting the institution. At the end of the procedure, the skin should be re-moistened with an oil solution.

How to apply?

Before applying the product, the skin must be prepared. Previously, it is worth scrubbing. This will allow you to remove dead epithelial cells, align and cleanse the skin. After this procedure, the oil is more absorbed and more effective.

It is best to smear an oily solution on a moistened dermis. And you need to do this 30-40 minutes before going to the beach.

During this time, the oil is absorbed as much as possible into the skin, and the residue should be removed with a napkin or towel. So you will protect your clothes from pollution.

To apply the product, it is necessary to grind a small amount in the hands and massage it into the skin with soft circular movements starting from the legs and moving up. It is applied in a thin layer for maximum absorption, so as not to leave marks.

Features

Sunflower oil is an excellent way to protect from the sun and get a beautiful dark skin color. The tool is so common that you can see its finished version in the pharmacy and on the shelves of cosmetic stores.

But despite all its positive qualities, you should know some features of its application.

Given that the oil squeeze has a low sun protection factor of only 4, it is used when the body is already slightly tanned. For too white skin, the product is not suitable.

Care must be taken when applying oil. If it is poorly absorbed, then dust and other impurities will stick to the body. They clog pores, leading to skin rashes.

Due to the dense oil consistency, the product is not recommended to be applied to the facial area, since the skin here is more porous.

After sunbathing with an oil solution, it is recommended to lubricate the skin to protect it from drying out.

But in the case when you received a sunburn, oily liquids should not be used. They do not allow the skin to breathe, in addition, they contribute to the development of pathogenic flora. In such cases, it is more rational to use anti-burn agents so as not to cause the progression of the process.
