Otherwise, the cat may appear tangle, the coat will look fallen and ugly. With regular care, they will not appear, but if this happens, you need to carefully untangle them using a special spray and comb. If this was not possible, you need to carefully cut them.
- Cats are clean and do not need frequent bathing.It’s enough to do it every 3 months. Shampoo for longhair cats should be used for the procedure. Then they apply conditioner to facilitate combing, after which they wipe the animal, dry it (it is allowed to do this with a hairdryer, if the cat is not afraid of it), comb it.
- Claws are trimmed twice a month, gently cutting only the overgrown tips.
- Ears are cleaned with a cotton swab.. You can use a spray designed for these purposes.
- Eyes rub infusion of chamomile or clean boiled water.
- Not all cats like to brush their teeth with special pastes and brushes. However, there are specific treats for brushing your teeth. They are sold at pet stores.
- The cat’s corner, where she eats, should always be clean.. The remains of uneaten food should be discarded and the dishes washed. In one of the bowls there should always be clean drinking water, especially in the hot season.
- Perfect cleanliness should be in the tray. If it is wet, not clean enough, the cat can go look for a toilet elsewhere, and it’s not worth scolding her. In addition, the tray should be spacious, given the fact that the animal is quite large. Filler you can choose any that is convenient. But changing it is undesirable. The cat gets used to a certain smell. If the owners of the cat have taught a small kitten, for example, to a wood filler, it is better to use it in the future.
- The pet needs to purchase a vertical or horizontal claw point of the appropriate size and positioned so that it is convenient for the pet to sharpen its claws. A game complex with steps, a bed and toys will also benefit the animal.
- Kitten care is different in that they require more attention in terms of special nutrition and upbringing. It is important to instill all good habits in childhood, and then an adult cat will not cause trouble to the owners.
Food options
As for nutrition, veterinarians recommend the use of high-quality dry food rich in vitamins and minerals, designed specifically for long-haired cats, taking into account the nuances. For a castrated cat or a pregnant cat, as well as for kittens, different types of feed are used. Liquid food alternate with dry and give in the form of goodies.
The second food option is natural food. This kitten is taught from childhood, giving him:

- cereals;
- vegetables.
Only marine fish can be given no more than 2 times a week. There should be no bones in the meat.
