A specialist in this field develops successful plans and schedules for all future repairs, including repairing installations, machines or reconstruction of fixed assets of the enterprise, as well as monitors their maintenance and operation, improves them if necessary, and monitors the implementation of agreed plans. It implements and contributes to the implementation of systematic regulated maintenance, which involves the scheduled repair of installations, their adjustment, well-coordinated work of the enterprise, devices with high efficiency.
It controls the sites and divisions of the enterprise that take part in repairs and equipment tests, monitors the proper technical operation of the facilities.
In case of frequent accidents or downtime of machines and mechanisms, he searches for the causes and investigates them, takes measures to prevent them. The engineer must see the operational facility as a whole, i.e. must foresee what kind of breakdowns and repair measures may be next year.
